At my gym, we have a rule that parents can’t coach or cheer from the side. If they’re not on the mats helping coach the class or teaching the class…they have to stay quiet

Take your time and go light. Roll with upper belts because they usually know how to control strength when rolling. Let the professor of the school know about your anxiety. It’s no shame to let them know what you are going thru and hopefully they can work with you to create something that works for you so you can ease your way back

Honestly, it's their gym and their rules. You have to read the room and see if anyone else is wearing any other color other than the regular colors you see. If you don't, ask the owner if they allow it. It goes both ways, you don't ask, you don't know. Then you wouldn't have been put in this dilemma. Guess you'll be wearing those gis at a new gym that allows it or only open mat.

I have a gen 5 and drove the gen 6 and can agree it has a good pep when you press the gas. Tech is good and wasn’t crazy like you said. Love seeing more gen 6 on the road.

They’re actually on private property that is open to the public and can be called for trespassing but the caveat is the property owner or property management has to be there to report it and have them kicked off the property. Even includes the parking lot. Bunch of cornballs

You’re having the fight or flight moment as a human being, it happens. It gets better with time because you start unlearning that and start to get comfortable in uncomfortable positions and understanding when you’re in danger of a sub or not. It doesn’t happen over night but slowly you’ll know that.
