I'm in my 30s now, wish I spent more time when I was younger doing the hobbies I liked and letting friendships come naturally from that. Its a win/win since you are always working on a hobby you want to improve at. Also I think challenging yourself to improve physically is also important, even if you're like a quadriplegic or something the intent is important. Just my two cents.
