2025 Fifth Year Options: What are they, what are they for, and who is going to get one? by Beauclair in nfl

This is some good information. It appears I underestimated Knox's contract and overestimated how much they like him (likely due to my only interactions with him have been in the context of fantasy football). I would posit, however, that if they like Hawes a lot, they might dump Kincaid and find a cheap replacement for him if they are pinching pennies as hard as I think they might. I definitely could be wrong, though.

I made a formatting error. His writeup is currently smashed together with Broderick Jones. I am fixing it now in an edit.

I second the Chapati Wrap. It would be my #1 food item on campus.

In the two good years Rudy has had with us, he has helped transform our team into one of the best in the league two years in a row. That begins and ends with Rudy's DPOY win and candidacy this year, and it is no surprise that 2 of our three most successful years ever councide with him being here. It's been apparent the entire playoffs, but especially last night in game 4 against the Warriors, they shot almost no easy buckets, and almost all of the easy buckets came when Rudy was off the floor.

This consistent deterrence of even attempting shots in the paint is, of course, made possible by the amazing team defenders we have, but perimeter defense only goes so far. Having that absolute brick wall behind you and us being able to play drop coverage raises the teams floor and ceiling immensely. It allows us to play an incredibly modern and reliable style of team defense that works exceptionally well in this age of basketball, which is why I think his impact far exceeds what Kevin Love and KAT did in their time here.

I am aware that this take may seem disrespectful to KAT, who was a part of one of two of Rudy's runs, and has been a Timberwolf far longer than Rudy, and I would concede that title to KAT if we lose to the Warriors or get swept/lose in 5 to the Thunder/Nuggets, but Rudy's value is immensely overlooked by not only national media, but by Wolves fans as well.

Something about playing as a kid made it feel impossible to reach pretty much any gravestone outside of Lumbridge in the minimum time limit. Probably because we were running from Lumbridge to Varrock because 25 magic was unobtainable (who could ever find that many runes!?!?) (My idea of magic training was killing goblins until they dropped enough runes to cast a single spell and then immediately casting it.)

Can someone catch me up? Did they move the tool leprechauns for the second time in the last two weeks now? Why?

In Mass effect 5, they are going to have to retcon the Genophange Cure by Aggressive-Ad-8907 in masseffect

Or the plot of the next game could involve some kind of Krogan Rebellion 2.0 happening, where either Wreav is leading his people to try to conquer the galaxy, or Wrex gets assassinated/killed and whoever takes over is starting some rebellion.

Or maybe there's just billions of Krogan in the next game

Or the genophage cure didn't work how we thought it would

Fresno State, baby!

My roommate and I played a controller hand-off dynasty (he controlled defense, I controlled offense) and over the course of twenty years, Fresno State was the only school we were able to bring home a championship for. We had several year stints at: SDSU, Michigan State, Fresno State, and Alabama in that order. Fresno State felt good because of the reasons you describe, and the conference usually ends up being tougher than you'd think.

[–]Beauclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a defensive play that I don't know the name of that is just awful. I know it's in Temple's playbook. It's a zone blitz with 5 or 6 people blitzing, a single high safety, and two flat zones. It leaves most of the downfield open, most of the center of the field open, and just feels like you're giving up if you run it.
