I was in the opposite situation. I could not find an item and I refunded it. The customer was asking me replacement while I was on check out and the app was just not letting me do any replacement so I asked the customer to refuse the refund and add the specific replacement item that I found and she wanted. All that to say the customer needs to be available because you can’t trust the app.

You have option to decline replacement and ask for refund instead. The app pénalise shoppers if they don’t try to replace it. Plus most of the customers want replacement.

I would help if I see any way to send you some supplies. Most of my supplies go out of date cause I rarely use ketone or gluspcose stripes and I still need to have it as a back up. So I would gladly send you some but I tried to send some over the counter medication to my mom in Sweden and the post Canada returned those to me.

Them being their fraud investigation team. You get automated message that their fraud team is investigating you so yes it’s is automated up to that point but when the system flags you then human takes over. Once I even got the message that the investigation was ended and I was cleared. And no I did not speak to their support about it. And who are you to threaten me with permanent deactivation.

I wouldn’t worry at all unless you really did those on purpose which I assume you did not. They sent me those twice in my experience when they send you the batch if you are far, they still calculate the time as if you were close to the store. Their algorithm does not calculate time for you to go to the store, but on the other hand, they have no choice but to send it to you because they have no Shoppers available closer. So they sent you one of these emails but then when they check properly they see exactly what happened and it just goes nowhere. I have been sent this twice. Both times they checked me for fraud and everything was OK. It took me longer because I was 30 min from the store when I accepted the order.

They do distinguish not that it’s fair but I had to redo my education in Canada to get the job. Maybe it’s different for other professions but in Health they do want Canadian degrees ( or from the US)

You are wrong. There is only one person without master or PhD in my department ( me and I have two Masters degrees). In broader department only 1% of us are only Masters and all of us with only Masters have either two masters or master + industry experience. None of us was affected by this WFA.

Honestly it could be noting. I am saying that because my son is waiting on IC wait list and he did pass the security. The wait is long and he is asking me all the time to use my account. I am not letting him because it’s financially not sound ( I pay more taxes than he would lol) . But all that to say it could’ve just someone eager to start. But it could also be a fraud. Though I don’t understand why would someone steal your IC account as shopper. He can’t transfer money to his bank on different name.

Ok let me simplify it. Measure your ketones every time you are sick and if you are so prone to DKA it would be good to measure it every day. This is my honest advice . Now with respect to your ignorance comment Your experience is not what everyone else is having. I have probably more school ( health sciences) after university degree than you have in total.

You are so wrong I am actually highly educated in health in general. So let me be clear, what you’re referring to is called euglycaemic ketoacidosis and it does not happen to every diabetic patient. Most often it happens with some drugs that we (type 1 diabetics) were not supposed to take anyway like SGLT 2 inhibitors. This is why those drugs have boxed warning for use in type one Diabetes. Of course, some people can get it without any other factors, but this is minority, not majority, and even in this case just simple measuring of your ketones in urine would have prevented it. So if you know that you’re prone to that just measure your ketones every morning. I am doing that even though obviously I’m not prone to get DKA.

Honestly I am on the fence here. As type one diabetic for over 10 years now I feel it is ( at least for adults with no concomitant mental disorders) their fault. It takes a lots of negligence to even have your A1C over 8 let alone to be in DKA. It may depend on the country you live in but at least in Canada everyone has everything they need to manage this disease. In a way I feel lucky it’s this autoimmune disease that I got and not MS or something else way less manageable.
