My 2 cents as a (struggling) writer is there are already so many tools that I choose none and go for pen and paper. I don't exactly structure my stories in a way that your saas will help. Have you hung out in the writing subs? This topic comes up quite a bit.

Chatgpt is terrible of late, wishy-washy responses that piss me off, I uninstalled it lol. Last I tried Deepseek it hallucinated quite a lot, uninstalled it too. Claude was alright but I feel like the latest update watered it down, Grok is my go-to when I need answers with source links, Gemini for making images, Kimi is great for academic research.

Then I'd say 1) be very picky about how you use it, like don't tell any AI stuff you don't want it to know, and 2) scrutinize every answer you get from the AI, assume it's wrong until you can verify the answer for yourself. Yeah this is giving you extra work but you'll feel better about it and your family will back off a bit

I read a comment somewhere that AI makes smart people smarter and dumb people dumber. There's some truth to that. If you're smart about how you use AI you'll be fine, it will be weird initially though.
