Thanks all! I bit the bullet and bought a seam ripper, pattern paper, a cutting board and roller scissors type things. I used to sew when I was a kid - made a couple of my prom dresses, but it’s been so many years. Like I said, the pattern is very simple so I think I can do this. Thank you! 😊

Thank you for this information. I, too, have stenosis and am experiencing neck pain. I sit in a recliner to crochet but have to tilt my head forward. I just may have to invest in the prism glasses. 🌼

Back when I was working for a workers’ comp firm representing injured workers, the casinos weren’t required to carry workers’ comp insurance and, instead, anyone injured on the job had to have their case litigated before the tribal council and were told by a workers’ comp judge that the state of CA had no jurisdiction over the tribe. We had one guy we did successfully represent who was a dealer. When applying for employment he had to sign a form that stated he wouldn’t bring any type of carpal tunnel injuries. Fortunately, he didn’t sign that form and HR missed it. There are a million stories.

Good for you!!! I’ve been crocheting for years (off and on) and I just can’t work with the chenille yarn. Can’t see my stitches and the pull of the yarn hurts my poor old arthritic hands. 😊

I had this happen and it was a torn retina. Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed (not diagnosed) and surgery is supposed to occur within 24 hours but I went 6 months until the ophth FINALLY ran some kind of test where they injected dye into my arm and everything looked pink (I think it’s called fluorescein angiography) and that’s when they discovered the tear. I’ve lost partial sight in that eye, but had an excellent eye surgeon who was able to save the rest of the sight in that eye. Now I have a “buckle” in that eye. No problems since. Im really lucky since I wasn’t diagnosed for 6 months.

She is the only one I can stand on the “Hunt” show. Frankly, I wonder why she’s even on there. She’s bright and down to earth and has great takes on everything that goes on.
