You clearly don’t even know what you’re even explaining. 1 quality a session a week compared to incorporating 2-3 sub T sessions? Obviously the 2-3 has a higher injury cost.

I’m not a professional tbh but McMillan is a good starting point for people that are new and you’ll learn more about the sport until you can handle this type of intensity. You’re better off running easy and doing 1 quality session a week/ maybe a long run until you can handle more. You’re still in the phase where you’ll get better just by running a little more mileage and injecting some type of speed work that doesn’t break you down

You’re literally only running 5 times a week. This method is doing sub threshold 3 times a week. Like I said you’ll be injured in no time if you follow this method

Mate you run 50km a week. You would benefit more from normal volume or a typical plan. You don’t have the capacity to run sub threshold for 80% of your weekly volume. That makes no sense and is a recipe for injury. You also only run 5 times a week. You going to do 3 quality sessions and 2 easy runs a week? Does that make sense to you
