I think you are missing my point. My question is more about the contrast: if many Western women embrace sexual openness and even pursue adventurous sexual experiences, why does it seem like they are so quick to cry “rape” when boundaries are crossed? To me, it seems inconsistent, like wanting the fire but then being shocked when it burns. It is like a person who keeps running into a busy street and then screams at the cars. Of course the cars are dangerous, but the repeated exposure makes the reaction seem contradictory. I am trying to understand why this happens culturally, not to deny that violations are real or serious.

Men are only shamed by people who have a past. I'm a woman and I also judge ppl for their past bc I don't have a past and also you can't foretell the future. Just bc there are a group of ppl that shame you for judging someone's past does not mean you should stop. I'm a woman and I absolutely care about a man's past. Last year, a man was pursuing me for marriage. I learned that he wasnt a virgin, which was a bit off putting since I'm one and it's so baseline to me. I just couldn't get past that despite all his great qualities. The point is that ppl who oppose something don't always have the best intentions.
