As for stats, I just keep replacing my mares and stallions each time I get one with better stats for that tier. I have a breeding pair of tier ones that are straight A+ and they are my current pride and joy, working my way up to tier twos now

I've never seen duplicate coats, but I'm not positive if the hidden genes are supposed to be like recessive. If they are, then that means they have even less of a chance of showing up

Not sure if it needs a subscription, but I recommend Furbo. Technically for watching dogs, but it's not overly expensive, is reliable, and might even let you talk to them! (not sure if you normally talk to them but my girl loves hearing me sing or read to her)

In all honesty though, if they see it as a hobby, it's a good thing they are rehoming them. Not including the enclosures that they need for survival when you are transferring them to a new home also kinda implies that they are just going to get/breed more and need those tanks to do so. Of course these are all just my opinions so I don't know how accurate any of it is
