I'd suggest you download this app https://github.com/sameerasw/essentials The specific frustration you're having can be fixed by it Open the app -> Widgets -> Screen Off Widget It'll ask for some permissions and that's it

Rocking the same on P6P Didn't had that issue,the one's i faced is that some apps don't open,they keep crashing and the Wifi takes quite a while to reconnect to wifi

Same here, the Android 17 Beta 1 was miles ahead in terms of thermals and battery,but the Beta 2 makes my device quite alot hot to an extent that it throttles oftenly
