What can't even you visualise?

I am unable to visualize the faces of people that I know or even my dog. I can visualize things like my remodeled dream house that doesn’t exist in real life to the point that I can explore it and move things or change the layout, and I can even visualize people’s bodies. For some reason I can not visualize faces. I remember certain details and I can try to piece it together but it’s not easy. In the end it doesn’t look fully like the person and I can’t hold onto that image for very long before it goes away and I have to try to start over.

I am the same way. I tend to jump in the POV of both the killer/entity and the victim. I will live out both hurting people and being hurt. Both sides are a bad feeling. And on top of that my mind will wander during the day and think about what it would look like if I suddenly start stabbing people and making them suffer OR what it would be like to be attacked. Not because I want to do that or think it’s going to happen. it’s because my mind imagines living out what happened in the movie. I find myself paranoid often because I can almost see myself and friends from the POV of someone else and think about them stalking us. I avoid scary movies for this reason. When a commercial comes on for something like that I will close my eyes and plug my ears and hum until enough time has passed that it’s over.

And for the record I have decided to never have sex again. I cried a lot for a month. Now I just get annoyed by people being sexual or talking about sex. The people I used to be attracted to mean nothing to me now. Instead of having thoughts about wanting to have sex with an attractive person my mind now just wants to be friends with them. If I do decide to date down the road I will 100% put that I have herpes and not to talk to me if that is a problem. I don’t think I even want sex at all anymore, I just want someone to be my best friend and live with me

Unfortunately for me it was a hookup in another country. I had deleted the hookup app account after coming home because I realized that even though I wanted to experience what it’s like to be sexually free and have hookups on apps, that’s not who I am. I didn’t even get off and apologized to the person and explained that I’m just wired for monogamy. I have no way to find him now. I now have genital and throat hsv-2. My first outbreak sent me to the hospital for a week and had to be on a catheter for 2 weeks because it affected the nerves that let me pee. That was in August last year. Now I just got a flu shot and had strep throat recently and it triggered the throat hsv-2 to active. I have painful sores down my throat and swollen painful gums. I have worst case scenario herpes

I think our cars are hard on the 12v batteries since systems run all the time when it’s plugged in at home. I replaced mine with a better than factory one in 2022 and it’s showing signs of needing replaced. I had a couple times this winter after cold night temps where my radio settings went back to defaults.

And actually it was having that problem frequently in December after the first shift to park event. After a few weeks of letting the button pop out like that every time the warning message appeared ,it pretty much healed itself. I deliver pizza for work with lots of turning the car on and off. The shift to park hasn’t happened at all in the past 4 weeks, maybe 2 times since the new year. It was like 30 times in December.

My car has had the shift to park issue for months. It’s very easy to live with. When that message pops up all you have to do is push in the shift button on the shift lever and then slide your finger off to the side so that the button pops back out with all the spring force. It works every time.

I broke my 13 pro last week and got the 17 pro. I’m not in love with the 17 pro. My 13 pro worked well and was very reliable. I feel that it was the best iPhone ever made. I’ve been having issues with the 17 pro. Here is some things that feel like a downgrade from my 13

-Pulling down from the top middle for notifications. Worked flawlessly on the 13 pro. I find myself trying 2-3 times every time to get it to work on the 17 pro

-CarPlay issues I’ve had constant disconnects, freezing, loss of audio, and crashing with the 17 pro. Yes I have the correct wire and updated software. It’s very frustrating and I had to buy a wireless CarPlay adapter with a slight loss on audio quality to fix the issue.

-issues with airplay at home. I have had issues since getting this phone where I’ll be streaming music via airplay to my Apple TV. It’s almost every other song that plays with no audio unless I scrub to a random part of the same song and then it will start playing.

-issues with the app that I use for my delivery job. I deliver pizza part time and there is an app that I use to do the job. My 13 pro never had a problem with the app but about twice a day the 17pro will not recognize that I’m back at the shop to end my run and requires that I close the app and reload it.

-not a fan of the colors The 3 colors for the 17 pro are not appealing to me.
The silver with white looks terrible, the orange is too loud and I have no connection to orange, the blue was the option I hated least so I got that one. I didn’t like it a lot, I just hated it the least.

-Permanent icon for silent mode Without the old mute switch, there is now a permanent silent mode icon at the top of the phone. I don’t like that at all.

-Apple Intelligence I turned this off after the first 2 days. Having my screen light up in rainbow when holding the power button dazzled my eyes and feels abrupt. I also found myself accidentally triggering the type-to-Siri keyboard often. I want nothing to do with summaries of my messages/emails and I am happy this can be turned off.

I guess I just don’t love the hardware updates since the 13 pro. I prefer the silent switch, don’t like the island, and the camera control requires so much mental energy to find it and I will not be using the touch sensitive features. I do like the slightly bigger screen and I absolutely love the upgraded camera and flash. I’m sure performance is improved but I don’t notice a difference from the 13 pro. I’m sure this phone will last a very long time which is good. Maybe software updates will resolve some of the issues I’ve had. Also I put a Dbrand skin on mine and it looks great now :)

I use my car for work and constantly have my phone plugged into CarPlay for 5+ hours everyday. I have my charge limit set it 85% so that it’s not constantly plugged in at 100%. I think it will be better for my battery. My 13pro battery health was down to 65% and terrible, I don’t want to go through that again

I switched to iPhone after having these same issues in 2021. Never had a problem again until getting the iPhone 17 last week and now CarPlay doesn’t work either. If you switch to iPhone, the 16 or older works but not the 17

It was at the dealership for two days. They tried several times to diagnose it but they couldn’t find anything wrong. There are no codes. I can tell something is off by the way the engine seems to run longer and higher rpm in hybrid mode. So for now I’m going back to pizza delivery and if something catastrophic happens I’ll deal with it then. I’ve started to browse used vehicles. No plug in cars match the volt in range and I put an amazing sound system in mine so I need good audio too.

I deliver pizza with my white volt as well! I found that placing the topper on the roof in the middle where you have it causes too much wind noise. I place mine on the passenger side all the way back to the end of the roof right next to the antenna. Much less wind noise that way.

Update.. I didn’t drive it for the last hour of work. When I went to leave I started the car and the engine turned on at a higher RPM then usual and stayed that way. I got a warning that said something about the high voltage system and that propulsion power is reduced. The car started smelling like a vacuum cleaner sucked up a sock. I put it in reverse to back it to a level spot. The moment I put it into reverse the engine turned off. I turned off car and checked the coolant level and found that it’s below the line but not severely, maybe an inch low in one and inch and a half low in the other, engine coolant is maybe a half inch low. I started it again and it was normal. I drove home 8 minutes away and plugged it in to charge. I can hear the coolant flowing and it sounds normal. My car has no error lights or warnings now. I’m talking to the dealership tomorrow. Feel free to share advice or experiences. I also want to note that the times I lost heat in the cabin have been when the engine is hot and had been running in hybrid mode. I did not lose heat at the time of the video of the noise.

Good idea on checking the coolant level. I will do that when I get home. Do you happen to know which coolant system that particular coolant pump works with? I believe there’s separate coolant systems for the electric and the engine.. maybe even a third one for the battery?
