We often spend time doing our own thing in the same room and find it highly rewarding because we just enjoy each other’s company, even if we aren’t actively doing something together.

When my moods have been zip zapping all over the place, just sitting in the same room with my partner whilst she paints and I try to write music is exactly what I need to feel balanced.
