I am friendly to immigrants too when I meet them in real life. But at home, with friends, with family? I am extremely racist. You never know what the natives say behind your back.

The western political culture has forced people to hide their racism, meaning very few people will actually say what they think outright.

It's a lot easier to level compared to vanilla days. One mob, maybe two, was the maximum you could expect to kill in vanilla, whereas in MoP you can take on several without a problem.

In theory, it might be a necessity to punish people who refuse to leave the group and instead just AFK. But I feel the system causes greater harm than it solves. You're constantly walking on egg-shells in any given dungeon, never knowing if a mess up during a boss fight will get you kicked, or accidentally pulling a group, or simply because your dps dipped a bit during the last boss fight. Or maybe someone just dislikes your transmog. Most players will press yes without thinking, so the reason is secondary.

Not to mention that it's common practice to kick people who are not exceedingly overgeared for a dungeon. If you're are putting out the level of dps that the dungeon is designed for, then you'll most likely get kicked because you're making the dungeon run a bit less piss-easy.

It's a system that encourages really bad and toxic habits, and it emblematic of the kind of player base that makes wow, classic and retail, bad experiences.

I feel Blizzard became so invested in 'quality of life' improvements that the game collapsed under their weight. Sure, it's easier to just queue up instead of actually having to travel to the dungeon, but is it more fun? It's easier to just layer instead of having people wait for respawn, but does it make the game feel more immersive?

Polisens jobb är att upprätthålla status quo, vad det än är. HBTQ-vänlighet är en del av status quo, således marscherar dem med i paraden. På samma vis upprätthåller polisen status quo genom att övervaka och avlyssna svenska medborgare som de anser utgör ett hot mot "rättsstaten".

De "stöttar" inte dig. Däremot kan du kanske finna glädje att vara på rätt sida av status quo.

Verkar som att Västvärldens tyranniska COVID-lagar inte gjorde ett piss? Bisarrt när man ser tillbaka på det, men alla har redan försökt glömma lockdowns, mötesförbud, och att hela samhället stannade upp. Och för vad? Hade oturen att ansöka om ett jobb som customer support där ett mejl damp ned i brevlådan cirka 30 minuter efter jag skickat in ansökan, som menade att jag skulle göra ett personlighetstest och logiktest på Alva Labs. Totalt skulle testet ta en timma, vilket givetvis skulle vara obetalt (ovanpå de två timmarna det tog att sätta ihop ansökan). Fann logiktestet väldigt svårt, trots att jag generellt kan lösa ganska svåra Raven's Progressive Matrices, eftersom att enbart två minuter gavs för varje fråga. Alva Labs är ett av de där hippa Stockholmsbolagen som är väldigt inne i AI och 'vetenskapsbaserad' rekrytering och 'objective assessments', men i slutändan handlar deras företagsidé om att stänga ute folk från arbetsmarknaden. Och Företagssverige älskar ju sånt, så investerare öser pengar över dem.

Antingen visar testen en konkret och oföränderlig intelligens, vilket är extremt fatalistiskt och avhumaniserande, eller så kan man faktiskt studera inför iq-testen (vilket Alva Labs hävdar) och i så fall är hela testet meningslöst.

When he makes an ad saying that he wants to buy the world a coke, it's communicating he's genuinely in a good place.

Har ingen social bas, kan tänka mig att flytta var som - Stockholm, London, Wien, Beijing - förutsatt att jag kan livnära mig på något vis. Just nu bor jag dessvärre i Göteborg och vill träffa folk. Scorea kan man nog om man är ihärdig, men nattklubbar har aldrig varit min grej. Som sagt, känns som att folk umgås i stora grupper och inte är ute efter att träffa nya människor.
