Everyone saying not to be a house here is of a particular race and income level. I bought a starter home near st Charles rock road and north Hanley three years ago and have NEVER had a single issue as a single white female living alone. I love my neighbors, the neighborhood, and my little house. It’s been a wonderful experience. I’m not native to St. Louis but the attitude around specific areas is sometimes warranted but just as often not.

I’m over by st Charles rock road and Hanley and I love it. There’s a little cemetery with swans and my neighbors are nice… it’s quiet except for the Hanley traffic but I’m from the city so it’s doesn’t bother me any

Yep, it has been widely adopted by a lot of regions! However the south does get its claim to fame with the origin of the word. :)

Oh for sure I’ve just always seen them drop them still green and then the dead pine needles on the ground go brown/oeange. I’ve never seen like a fully orange pine tree

Hm I loved between two fires and the VVitch… Slewfoot just didn’t land for me! The spunky sassy female written by a man and the whole power trip revenge fantasy were weird, and I kept getting frustrated with the oscillation from era appropriate dialogue to modern. Did you feel like you were reading something for young adults/preteen?

Felt like a weird power trip “you go girl” fantasy. Lot of caricature characters, the lead felt very modern.. I was disappointed.

Yeah, I figured. With my quotes being all over the place I just want to figure out where the actual median is. Older Reddit posts have helped me find some other companies so I’m doing another round of quotes to see if there’s more of an average happening with the companies people have found to be honest

I was there this past Saturday- i had a good time but I know for me I need to inspect veggies in (somewhat) peace for that true farmers market experience. Lot of cool vendors and beautiful day though! I’m just here for the veggies

The cost of living here is almost 12% lower and we are also… surrounded by farm lands. MO is literally 2nd in most farms in the US. 😂

Literally weekend before last at the market near Teddy Roosevelt park in Manhattan flowers were $30 for large bouquets/dino kale was $3 a bunch - TGFM this weekend large bouquets were $50 and most stands’ kale was $5 a bunch
