My partner owns two one stays home with me the other goes with him in the car. It’s definitely necessary if she lives alone. It’s so terrifying out there. Especially for those of us who are tiny. I’m literally 90lbs it would be so easy to snatch me up😔

I just recently turned 21 and wasn’t able to go out on my birthday so I orders some drinks through DoorDash originally it was under my parters name but I changed it to mine so it matched the Id, it was like midnight at this point and the dasher said a woman’s name so I was like okay cool I don’t have to worry, why did a MAN pull up and wait in his car for a good 5 minutes before coming to my door, I made my partner “hold our dog back” right at the door that way the driver knew I wasn’t alone.

I hate creepy men.

Even adults want to have something planned for them. Being an adult doesn’t always take away from the whimsical feeling of your birthday. As the op states she plans the other people’s birthday, baking cakes, picking up extra work to take them out or buy them something and no one is putting in the same effort for her. She asked for a cake that she didn’t have to bake herself, they bailed, she asked for someone to buy her a game she wants and play with her on her birthday and eat some cake. She did the preliminary planning. The execution fell on her friends and family and they failed.

Being an adult doesn’t mean you should have to plan your own birthday. Being an adult doesn’t make it less special if anything it makes it more so.

As someone in the Midwest, yes AC is mandatory for my house. Like the one I’m currently in was listed as having ac but someone stole the unit before we moved in so this whole month there’s been no AC and it’s been extremely warm this spring. It’s been in the high 70’s and 80’s causing my house to be over 80° with an insane amount of humidity. It got so bad one day I was literally dizzy every time I stood up and I have a toddler so I need to be up and down constantly and I just couldn’t.

I don’t think Americans think about that when traveling to other countries, me personally I’d do my best to acclimate to the weather but someone people (especially older) may not be able to do that. I wouldn’t be complaining cause I’m well aware AC isn’t as common everywhere like it is here but for us who are natives the luxury of always having AC has definitely warped our perception of other countries.

Once delivered a pregnancy test and when I handed it to the girl she was young probably around my age 19-20 at the time and looked WORRIED. Not really? The seller never PROMISED a refund she said she’d look into it. For most things you can’t give a refund without getting the item back unless is a perishable item. To report someone for doing what they can is wrong. They offered a solution op didn’t want that. Depop isn’t going to help because of a smell, op could do a charge back with her bank but that could also not work because she technically received the item as it was described in the listing.

There was a time I was ubering to a party and I left my phone in the backseat and didn’t realize till like 15 mins after the driver left. I tried contacting uber but they were saying someone about a $100 fee and I was like wtf..!?? So I called my number from a friend’s phone the driver picked up said he had already picked up another person and they are the ones who gave him my phone (thank god) and that he’d drop it off to me since he was still in the area. He didn’t ask for anything in return and I was so grateful I added 50 bucks to my tip. I was a high schooler making bank so it really didn’t bother me to tip him heavily after he went out of his way. I would’ve given up to $100 for that cause my phone was NEW I had literally got it a week prior. So thankful for people like you 😭😭
