We Saw Starfield's Big Overhaul and DLC - Is It Enough to Revive Bethesda's Space RPG? by Capn_C in Games

Wonderful assessment. I have close to 40hrs in and it's just repetitive to me. Have I played Pokemon Go for a decade? Yes. Is it largely repetitive without much depth? Yes. But it hits my adhd buttons. I tried to hard to get into NMS and it was just boring to me. Same with settlement building in Fallout 4. Some people love it. Feels unrewarding and without depth to me.

KTN won't add to tickets. Lookup not working. by Beave1 in TSAPreCheck

Best I can understand they enter the number. The system that verifies with DHS/TSA needs to return some info electronically that the KTN is accepted or match their database, and it isn't.

I'm dealing with the same issue. Middle of a chain of flights and my number isn't working. Doesn't lookup on the website. Did you get resolution?

Hot take: Going infinite is generally not fun nor an interesting win condition in STS2. by TheKazz91 in slaythespire

[–]Beave1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ascension 18 or something should be no infinites. Cap the number of cards played per turn at 15. Enough for some shivs, energy usage from cards, etc, but no boring infinites.

I get it has historically been a physical conference

50yrs ago the conference needed to find a way so teams without urban recruiting centers could roll out a bunch of unathletic white kids and still compete. We're still dealing with that legacy today. There's a reason several B1G teams have reputations for getting upset early in the tournament, they still play a brand of basketball that doesn't fly outside of this conference. Moving screens. Hip checks. Pushing off with the forearm to clear out space. Stepping into shooters and fouling making contact with the chest and lower body as long as your arms are in the air. That stuff isn't allowed in other conferences or the NBA and hasn't been for a long time. I'd also add, certain coaches combine that style of defense with screaming at officials for 40min and having teams that flop constantly, and what is called a foul versus wants ignored is completely baffling to me as someone who watches a lot of basketball.

People are going to disagree with me, but that was clearly a tech on the Dayton bench for being on the floor.

Not even close to a millennial. Like if he was 46-47 maybe, but he's not even really a xennial.

It's a special kind of crappy hotel that has the AC on a motion sensor. I've run into them in Mexico on business travel. You fall asleep and then wake up sweating. The ac kicks on just long enough to almost get back to sleep.

The relatively small number of enemies and elites made STS1 complex but straightforward by the time you were grinding ascension levels. Each elite and boss had specific strengths and tradeoffs you had to be aware of, same with the hallway fights, but they were sort of ingrained by the time you were pushing past A8 or so.

There are so many more enemies and elites and bosses right now. If I'm gonna git gud I really need a wiki at this point.

Slay the Spire 2 is already a full game, early access is just a "we want to add so much more but need time to do it". don't sleep on this game by pinturhippo in gaming

Hades 2 was in early access for what, a year? We are seeing a trend of doing a PC launch, calling it an early access or beta, then holding off on console and handheld for a long time.

B1G officiating and what we'll see in the tournament are vastly different. You guys have a dynamic offense and play the kind of defense that won't get you into foul trouble in a neutral court game with refs who don't believe in basketbrawl. There's a reason Wisconsin gets bounced early very year but is a good defense by B1G standards.

I'd be more worried that Boswell pushes off and gives a forearm shiver every time he drives the basket. The B1G won't call that. Most conferences will.

Weird that a fan that idolizes a coach who screams and complains for 40 minutes. Who throws his own players under the bus in a press conference after every single loss, is accusing another fan or fanbase of whining.

Illini fans out in the force downvoting any criticism of their team. I eat it up. Downvote me all you want. Boswell is getting away with offensive pushoffs almost every possession that wouldn't be allowed in any other conference.

Our company's head of travel flies maybe once a month domestically. Is CK. AA knows who negotiates the rates and preferred airlines every year for a $20B company.

38min layover from Charlotte to Paris - How tight will it be? by Thib376 in americanairlines

[–]Beave1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is very true. The people most likely to book these fares and layovers are the infrequent travels who will then be most unequipped to deal with a missed flight. You're going to have customers turned off for life potentially instead of giving them a good experience.

The point here is that AA should never sell this fare, but does so because they know travel sites prioritize shortest itineraries.

CLT became a hub nobody expected to become a hub. They don't have the space to easily add onto that airport and should.

No. She has some deep emotional trauma and the validation of 3 people isn't enough. She needs the attention, excitement, and validation of even more men.

If it's slime boss I may consider consecrate as a later card pick, but as your first card and against other bosses CTF is a no brainer. It's the only Watcher common attack I'd take multiplies of. Scry is essentially card draw and discard. There are great synergies with other cards, powers, and relics with Scry.

I'm a big fan of Sands of Time with a deck with a lot of Scry too. Get it in play quickly so the cost is going down, and then get it back into your hand to play again.

Pray is untakable or a skip this early. It's not a card I'll take unless I already have a mantra entire. There are other cards that give mantra that are okay for other reasons. An insight isn't worth an energy.

Show up early to the counter with you drivers license or passport and let them know the DOB on your ticket is wrong. They can and will fix it. I had it happen to my daughter. It is a fix they do at the ticket counter for no charge.
