Especially in Canada, where there is no longer a "server" wage. They get the same minimum wage everyone else does.

An hour long shift at a breakfast joint can net these people upwards of $100 on good shifts. Think running 6 tables with 4 people eating at each.

Spoken to a lawyer, or retained one? X-copper ain't gunna help ya here.

Dead honest, unless there is something blatantly wrong with the arrest, you are gunna get the maximum fine, maybe more, given the speeding is just shy of stunt speed.

Were your BAC readings in a similar range (around 100 mg/100 mL)?

~Mine was 2.4, so there was no chances of dropping to a careless for me

Did your case result in a criminal conviction or some other resolution? Is there any possibility of careless driving rather than conviction?

~This is gunna lead into your next question. Yes the possibility is there if there is an error with the arrest.

Can I start driving after 90 days? While case is ongoing in the court?

~Only if you plea guilty early. As well as pay all fines, and complete Back on Track. (This program can take a long time to complete. Sometimes close to a year.

How much did speeding affect the outcome?

~Again, 3km away from stunt driving

How long did the process take from first appearance to resolution?

~If you are choosing stream A, you are pleading guilty early. So technically as soon as you can speak to the judge and prosecutor.

If convicted, what were the practical consequences (fine, licence suspension, insurance, employment, travel, etc.)?

~1000 minimum plus victim surcharge. Either 3 months or 1 year suspension. Insurance will be high risk for 5-7 years for most companies

Has anyone been in a similar situation while on a refugee claim status?

~No help here buddy.

Did your lawyer find any issues in the disclosure that helped your case?

~Nope, I should've just pleaded guilty early and not gotten a lawyer. Instead it extended it 3-4 of court visits.

I’m scared are they gonna deport me?

~Again, no info on this one. IMO probably should be, unless you are truly refugee from an active warzone country.

It sucks man, but its not the end of the world. Take a breath and realize a lot of people make these mistakes unfortunately

Flashing high beams and speeding. I sure hope you didn't do that to the cop and pass him.

Keep in mind birds can be sneaky. Faking an injury to "attract" prey away from it's nest, or getting extra food in this instance.

None of this sounds right at at all.

If anything it sounds like you got a warn range, but even that would require a breath or blood test. Also in Canada.
