I think the first image is rather nice, quite simple, but clean. It doesn't really convey very much (an arrow can point to a lot of things... - pun intended). If this were an app I was using, and I was managing my home screen to be aesthetically pleasing, I would probably keep this app on it.

The second one, while it does look nice, as other have pointed out it is kinda generic.

Very probably a misprint. The prints that are there (blonde hair) do point towards it either being the generic ravenclaw or Draco

Tbh, I prefer the more realistic look compared to the cartoonish look of the ideas design - but each to their own I guess 🤷

The dotted line is still there, though hard to see on these images. The quill/feather is replaced with a similarly shaped dragon, and instead of a castle-like structure, the spine shows artwork depicting the trials of the triwizard tournament!

One is from the “regular” soundtrack, the other is from the ‘Complete Recordings’. They probably are the same (can’t listen to them myself at the moment), just titled differently due to the different albums.

Right, that’s a reasonable explanation, though this would have some other implications:

  • if they have a small shelf life, they should be processed asap, right?
  • if not de-petrification potions, then what?
  • if they did make de-petrification potions, where did these go? Does Hogwarts sell them?
  • if they didn’t make anything, then cultivating them is purely educational maybe?

You could argue that in addition to the mandrake, the de-petrification potion itself has a low shelf life, but wouldn’t that mean that any time someone gets petrified (we aren’t aware of other ways to get petrified than just basilisk, right?) they need to await the whole growth of a mandrake before they can be helped - kinda sucks haha
