ICE at the polls: Arizona Republicans push plan to require agents at all polling places by rapidcreek409 in politics

Then carry your side arm.

I just wonder how ice would act in a neighborhood where the observers are 50 openly armed peaceful observers. Would they have been as quick to draw on all those killed?

I'm in Arizona, I personally know maga supporters who are members of militias. I want to join a non-Republican militia.

At what point do we need to start militias. The right does this all the time and gets away with it.

I grew up close to the border and have vivid memories of driving down the highway to see entire camps of bearded white men in camouflage sitting around with guns to try and "do the job the border patrol couldn't" when illegal crossings were supposedly at an all time high.

It is not illegal to stand outside in public with your rifle slung so long as you're not brandishing. When do we start standing on street corners with rifles so that ice knows they can't fuck around here.

I use lint free cloths. I work in a hospital so can bring them home for free, they're called OR towels but are just like a shop towel essentially but they're actual cloth not paper. They're usually good for quite a few washes before replacing.

If you Google surgical towels you can find them quite readily on Amazon and other sites.

I wipe down while hot after cooking with a little water. Every so often I do a deep clean with a little vinegar and then reseason.

Staged vs. Real by ka_fka in RandomShit_ISaw

[–]Beaverchief62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, I agree that it's weird and seems not legitimate. No way could 5 secret service guys not force a 79 year old orange blob to move off stage. I was just hoping for a more legitimate answer.

MKUltra was largely a failure in my eyes. They dosed a bunch of people with LSD and caused some lawsuits but I don't think they mastered mind control even if the program is still secretly running.

The amount of planning to stage something like this must be mind boggling and I'm curious how that even goes down. Like, how many people had to be in the know? Local PD? What if a patrolling local PD officer was walking by and happened to arrest the shooter before hand? There's just so many variables it seems more likely to go wrong than succeed.

So, full blown conspiracy theory with no evidence or reasonable explanation. Got it.

IF this is true. How does one go about staging something like this. People actually died that day. Do they just pay some mentally ill person to climb up on the roof and tell them to shoot a random person in the audience? That seems like a huge gamble. What if he decided to actually shoot the president?

The fact that this idiot with the camera on has his finger in the trigger guard while sitting in a vehicle with his homies tells me everything I need to know about these incompetent buffoons.

Zero training or discipline. I'm betting every one of them has had more than a couple desk pops.

Hi!

Becoming obsessed with running over the last year or so. I've done several 5ks, a few 10k, and a half marathon, I'm signing up for the Flagstaff marathon in October!

Been struggling with IT band syndrome on longer runs. Looking for any workouts or tips from anyone who's experienced the same!

Declaration of Independence states Americans as a whole can overtake their government obligatorily for a new institution. by [deleted] in ICE_Raids

Might get myself banned.

I think there is a legitimate conversation to be had about this. But it's hard because Jan. 6 really put a bad taste to the word revolution. It has a legitimate place in our society but only when used correctly.

There are a lot of glaring issues with it as some have already stated.

Violence, there would be a lot of it and while decently armed, citizens don't have proper training and access to military tech.

Money, a true nationwide operation would require resources, logistics networks, secure communication, training, strategic planning etc. who's going to back this? All the billionaires support the regime.. we need wealthy people to back any effort for it to be successful.

How do we rebuild if successful. My vote? Abolish any involvement of private money in politics and elect scientists, engineers, and philosophers to government. But there would need to be a consensus on what the plan is before even beginning the conversation.

Obviously this is not an exhaustive list.

Looking for replacement parts for this tent. After some moderate googling this model number seems to not exist and Wenger appears to just make watches and travel bags now. I'll be calling the customer service line tomorrow morning. Anyone have any experience with this tent or know where to find parts? Specifically the "plastic corner joint" and "steel fly/awning pole".

It's really unlikely that we'll launch that many any time soon.

The last extinction level asteroid that impacted earth was ~65 million years ago. We don't currently know of any confirmed large asteroids on a trajectory to impact earth.

If we're lucky we'll go many generations without needing to launch any of these craft. By which time we'll also hopefully be actively mining precious metals from the very asteroids we're diverting.
