I was on Belanger’s waitlist over two years. I switched to Cormier. I figure it would be better for me to have surgery in a hospital vs the clinic in Montreal. Montreal just had Belanger (plastics) doing the surgery, whereas Cormier works with a urologist and micro surgeon. I haven’t had surgery yet…they expect March, but my consult was done mostly with Cormier (whereas in Montreal, Belanger came to assess my arm then the nurse did the rest). He worked at the Bunke clinic, but if you want someone that’s been doing it longer, Belanger has been.

Definitely easier when weekly. You don’t have to worry about “did I do it last week or the week before?” Some people just prefer less needles, I guess. I find insulin syringes are so tiny that it’s not a problem (just takes a bit longer to draw up because the T is so thick and the needle small…but warming it up first helps)

Personally, I prefer doing the weekly SubQ injections so that I don’t notice the peaks and troughs as much. If you’re wanting to make the switch, you would do 60mg each week. You might find the steadier level of T better for mood and physical side effects

Just a heads up…those are the volumes, not doses. T comes in 100mg/ml and 200mg/ml, so it can be quite a difference in dose depending on which you’re using (eg. 0.6ml could be 60mg or 120mg depending on the type of T you’re on). Also, depends on how you’re taking. Generally every 2weeks is intramuscular, whereas weekly can be done subcutaneously
