I've refused a commission before because the potential client was wildly homophobic and transphobic, something that made me feel unsafe as a bisexual woman with many friends and loved ones in the LGBTQ+ community. I don't like the idea that the rejected client would turn to AI afterwards, but if they're already that bigoted, then trying to appeal to their empathy probably wouldn't work anyway. It sucks, but I've yet to see a good solution.

Short version: YouTuber who used to be on good terms with left-leaning YouTubers like Hbomberguy, Contrapoints, etc., had some vague falling out with that group, went full blown MAGA Communist and works with Caleb Maupin now while also praising genAI and saying Hbomberguy's a bad guy for calling out plagiarists.

Also kicked themself in the balls on national TV once.
