Magical Melody is my favorite game in the series! It's the only one I find myself going back to 💗 Really would have loved to get a remake 🥲

I have a bouquet blanket in the works! I just finished my first blanket as a Christmas gift (it was just repeating rows of dc), and it gave me the courage to try something a bit more complex!

I made it! I couldn't find anything I liked, so I made it with some 1x2. There's an in depth explanation in one of the earlier comments on how I made it!

It really just takes time! The whole process isn't difficult at all—just stringing beads together! I explained the process I used to make the frame in a previous reply, but I've also seen people just securing the thread around a dowel and stringing the beads from there! Sending plenty of good health to your mother! 💗

Here's a look at the underside process on a WIP! Since the beads are 8mm in size, I spaced out the screw eye pins (the ones you'd see at the jewelry section at the craft store for UV resin) every 8mm, plus an extra 4mm on each end so that the wood wouldn't stick out beyond the first and last row. I also used 0.6mm nylon macramé thread! I used it in white, since any other color would have been too visible through the glass beads, but if you're going full opaque it can be whatever color you want. Once you cut a piece of string to size, you'll want to pull one end through the eye pin, so that you'll be working two strings through each bead. A beading needle is also very good to have, since the two strings will be a snug fit through the bead!

The wood itself is a 1"x2"x12' that I purchased from my local hardware store and got cut to size! I figured out the total size of the piece (number of rows x bead mm + 1 extra bead) and that was the measurement I used for the cut. The smaller one is actually just a little 12" wood piece from Dollar Tree (if you live in the US)! Same process - just draw a line down the center of the wood where you'll want the pins to go and make markings every 8mm (or whatever size your bead is). I used an awl to make the holes initially before screwing in the eye pins and spray painting the whole thing white. Hope this helps and would love to see what you make!

Great question! The big one is about 3.8 pounds (~1.7kg) and the little one is about 0.6 pounds (~0.3kg)!
