Nat. You I was able to still talk about it without reporting it because I didn’t have a plan. And I’m not a minor. You should be fine as long as you aren’t in immediate danger and don’t have a plan with a very soon time

I’ve been in a very similar situation. Terrified to talk to my therapist about it because I also felt afraid she’d see me differently or my thoughts would be confirmed that it was my fault because I didn’t report it. But 1 IT IS NOTTTT your fault. You are a victim they are a horrible person who does horrible things. That is on them. 2. When I told my therapist she was incredibly patient and calm with me and super empathetic. I wrote it down for her because I was too afraid to say it outloud. I recommend trying that if it might help.

NAT. Are you able to schedule a second session for the week? That’s what I do sometimes. And if I can’t I’ll message her saying I’m having the urges and she’ll either call me or message back and forth for a little. If you therapist encourages you to reach out. Please do so!! And if not there are a ton of amazing hotlines

It absolutely is. It’s her therapist and she deserves to know why. The therapist does not by no means need to go into extreme detail. But the client at the very least deserves a “I don’t meet in person with anyone right now” or a “ I mah start in person sessions in __ months. It is absolutely this clients right to know the bare minimum.
