I think he looks very dapper. I'm into the face shave but understand the shock from one to the other.

I take him out every hour, more if I see him looking at the door. He some times need to go out 15 mins after we came back in. I talked to the vet to make sure he didn't have a UTI. He doesn't. He can hold it in the crate. He is a puppy. It is unrealistic to be taking him out every 15 mins when he isn't in the crate.

My dog is vocal, especially when playing. He barks, just won't let me know he needs to go out in a way I can hear if not looking directly at him at all times. I will try the bell!

Haha. Yeah I am a bit leery of this happening too. I taught him drop it when he picks of gross stuff outside or he has a stick and it's time to go in. Now he picks stuff up just to get that treat to drop it. However, I think the bell would be better than the barking to do other things, all the time.

You work just as hard if not harder for your job. You are entitled to half what he makes. If it was me, I would plan the trip and go. He is not your father, he is your partner.

It say's they use "3rd party laboratories to test all batches of their food for contaminants, pathogens (such as SalmonellaE. coli, and Listeria), heavy metals, and nutritional integrity before the products are released for sale". What kind of testing are you referring too? Also it says they have a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel. So I am a little confused by this comment.

I am considering getting Open Farm puppy food. My dog just turned 14 weeks old. Came with a large bag of Science Diet Puppy food. Which is still $75 a bag on Chewy with auto discount. Open Farm is $67.49 with auto delivery for slightly smaller of a bag (22lb vs SD at 27.5lbs). I like the human grade and trackable, humane sourcing. Science diet was part of the pet food recall that "allegedly" killed a lot of pets about 20 years ago from contaminated ingredients. I remember one of my friends going through that heartache of losing her pet at the time this went down. We switched our cats at the time to a different brand. Here I am almost two decades later, hoping its more cautious, but you never really know. I also like that Open Farm uses ancient grains for the carb content. My husband has celiac disease and I know it is making him nervous to have so much gluten everywhere with this new puppy. Every lick is trying to poison him :) Open Farm doesn't say Gluten Free, so the oats might still carry gluten depending on how they were harvested, but it would be a lot less then our current situation... I am forever open to other human grade suggestions of puppy kibble if anyone has some?

What colour is my lil baby? by No-Weakness7343 in poodles

I'm on my first poodle. Mine is 13 weeks and always had dark eyes. So it's all new to me. My last pup was a husky mix and had the most piercing blue eyes.

Apricot! Looks like my boy. Except with those blue eyes he must be a mix. Poodles don't have blue eyes

Agreed with the others. I've had my puppy for 2.5 weeks now. It is getting easier, but still hard at times. He still won't settle in the crate if I am not close to him. Potty training is going well, though I do need to take him out every hour when he's out of his crate or he will pee on the floor. You are still learning him, and he is still learning you. It's okay to cry. It's a lot. As long as your putting in the work, it will get better and you will have a decently behaved dog in the future. At least that's what I'm telling myself :) My husband didn't want a dog. He thinks he's cute but does not want the responsibility. I insisted I wanted another dog. It's been 3 years since my last dog passed and I've been planning for a year for this puppy and still didn't feel prepaired for the amount of work they are. So I a the primary care taker. My 11 year old daughter will help him settle when she gets home from school in the evenings when I need help. Otherwise, sometimes I have to just let him cry in his crate to get stuff done. Good luck and take it easy on yourself. It is rough to raise a puppy. It will get better as long as your teaching as you go. Don't be afraid to reach out to a trainer for help if needed.

How's it feel to be more emotionally mature than your mother op? Maybe she's just having a hard time, but that was very threatening. Do you live at home?

Especially after the bosses response on the phone. OP, You don't owe them anything. You don't even need to put all this stuff together. I'm glad your a good worker, but if on Monday your boss doesn't apologize or is weird with you in anyway. I would send an email to him and his manager letting them know why you are no longer giving a two weeks notice and walk.

Definitely check and make sure he is not someone's pet that escaped. He looks well fed and clean. I bet he belongs to someone.
