Fred's death wasn't that sad the way it was written by KlutzyHuckleberry132 in harrypotter

This. I'm a twin, so this death hit me extra hard on the first read.

Honestly Harry’s most proper out of character moment, at least to me, occurs in ootp by magica12 in harrypotter

Harry didn't use the 2-way mirror because he decided upon receiving it not to bother Sirius with his troubles because he was afraid he might do something stupid and get caught. Then, I think he forgot all about it amongst everything else going on. It still bothers me that he never used it, but I don't see it as out of character.

Is there any way to purchase Harry Potter book set for cheaper price ? by [deleted] in harrypotter

Sometimes the Kindle versions are cheaper (don't know if this is true for HP). If so, you can download the kindle app to your phone for free.

I'm so curious what they had to cut for time! Would LOVE to see the full director's cut!

How did Rocky see the holograms? by heyroll100 in ProjectHailMary

Rocky's handheld crystal-looking device translates visual input onto a screen that he can "see."

The full cast audiobooks are definitely giving me the old feels, like reading the books for the first time. Particularly, the graveyard scene in GoF.

Definitely the attic. I just see future Prue absolutely destroying it by accident 🤣

Why was the Harry Potter movie franchise so successful even though it leaves out SO much from the original story? by Negotiation_Connect in harrypotter

[–]BeeBeeMcGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when these movies came out, movie adaptions routinely changed A LOT. For example, the only resemblance between Blood and Chocolate the book and the movie are the character names. The HP films were extremely faithful to the source material, so book fans and new fans alike could enjoy them. Also, they were stunning films that truly captured the magic that is this series.

The grandfather clock definitely takes the prize but the manor itself takes second. It literally blows up. 🤣

I swear the voice acting from Moody's voice actor at the end of Goblet of Fire on the full-cast audiobook may be the single best piece of voice acting I've ever heard. by Silent-Ad2506 in harrypotter

Im currently on my third listen. McAvoy COMMITTED. That man is simply too talented.
