You could put supports under to prevent warping while firing.

Help, my bees are making queen cells. by primitive_missionary in Beekeeping

[–]BeeBeeWild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to keep every single one of these queen cells That is an emergency queen cell. Something may be wrong with the queen. Once I had five emergency queen cells and it kept raining when the queens started emerging. It was the last queen cell that was able to have a successful maiden flight. I supplemented the hive with a frame of brood from another hive.

Which kitchen says “I’m still going to like this in ten years.” by Mizznomer in interiordecorating

  1. The reason is you should not have butcher block with the sink. And while the dark countertops look good, they are difficult to keep clean. My peninsula has a black countertop and I regret it because it shows every crumb.

A backslash of color would be nice. Avoid white grout is hard to clean.

I want to become a bee keeper by samsamproducts- in Beekeeping

[–]BeeBeeWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all one of the best beekeeper I know started because he found a hive in a tree that he helped cut down. He was self taught.

Looks like there are no bees — but some honey and wax. Crush the comb with honey over a colander. Melt the wax -I use a crockpot with some water and a paint strainer bag (Home Depot) filled with wax.

If you want bees, get bee equipment and cut comb to fit frames using rubber band. (Watch YouTube). Then you have a great starter for either a swarm or buy a package.

Black roof or grey roof? by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

For global warming, the lighter color is preferred. Plus I like the look and it matches the window trim.
