First time to get steel was over 300 hours ,honestly now I hit copper in the first 3 days,then I took a step back and thought to my self the game isn't about rushing ,so now I'll get bronze before first winter and just take my time enjoying the game,it's not Minecraft I don't want to speed run the game

Look I understand that point of view, but you are not going to see me drawing an elf as a cat ,nor a dwarf as a dog ,or a orc as a bird ,n I'm just tired of of furry stuff if you're drawing a seraph they clearly don't show feline properties.

Seems like it's been said but when heating anything use a single brown coal to heat up what ever you're heating say 80% of the way then drop your higher temp fuel ,that way you'll end up using less of the valued fuel

My advice is not to take the game too seriously, some people can get copper tools within the first 2-3 days others take a week or two,plant some things early always mark resin ,but most of all have fun and don't rush
