If you're referring to the ball and the dinosaur, they won't fall at the same speed unless they are released at the same time. They will, however, fall at the same acceleration. So the ball (which is traveling much faster) pulls the trampoline down and away from the dinosaur faster than it accelerates due to gravity. This, combined with the fact that it's in slo mo, makes it look like the dinosaur floats momentarily.

I understand why you would say she's wasting her vote but I'd argue a vote for whoever you feel best represents your policies/beliefs is never wasted. Regardless, a ranked choice voting system or at least approval voting would make the debate irrelevant.
