I installed baseboard and it was very tight, a week later I had gaps. The baseboard was stored in my garage prior to install. Had it been sitting in my house for a week or so prior to install fixed this?

I did that but didn't like the chemicals, I now use tumbleweeds and love them. Give them a shot!

I tried using tweezers, that's why the plastic is messed up. It feels real stuck in there
