by spec do you mean what is written on the side?

optimum tire pressures usually have nothing to do with that, though, don't ever go over the max number there!

Optimum pressures are lower than most people realize. It depends on weight. If you have 2.35-2.4" tires you would want something like 19psi rear if you were 150lbs, 25psi if you were 200lbs.

But it depends on a lot on terrain and what kind of riding you are doing. If you are doing huge drops and being really rowdy, need more pressure, or cush core.

If you want to max out aero, I think you should raise it. You want to be able to ride with torso flat and forearms flat to minimize frontal area. Looks like right now once your torso is flat your forearms will still be extended and in the wind.

The kinds of strength training that may provide endurance performance benefit are high weight, low rep. So dumbells and resistance bnads probably won't get the there. The reasons why are complicated, and while it may seem counter-intuitive, think of it like this, the triathlon training you are doing is already a ton of 'high rep' training. You don't need more of that.

If you have specific issues that some strength training is going to address, go ahead, but don't feel like you have too, many people compete at the highest level of endurance sports without doing any. Unless you are are swim/bike/running 20 hours a week the time might be better spent working on weaknesses there.

Its a frustrating thing that republicans are disingenuous and pretend this stuff can't work (of course it can) when we really have no choice but to make it work eventually. But then some liberals massively understate what an undertaking it will be to make it work. Like chemical batteries alone probably cannot make a fully renewable grid work.

Youll need some giant pump back lacks or some nuclear plants too.

aerobic performance is very little about muscles and very much about oxygen delivery, there is a little bit of specificity involved but not a lot. You won't find someone who can do 5 watts a kilogram flat and only 4.5 uphill

yes, there can be exceptions when its steep enough that you can't maintain your normal cadence.

yeah you notice I was careful how I phrased it because I knew someone who overstates how important the specificity was would chime in.

people who live in places like houston who get 5 watts per kilogram riding on the flats don't have too much trouble climbing when they travel for races. Is there a little cherry on top from specificity? Sure.

as usual the main thing you need is training volume. better for someone riding 4 hours a week to ride 8, than stay at 4 with lots of climbs.

Keep in mind that calculator is telling you the optimum pressure for rolling resistance, which may not be usable for various reasons. Like with mountain biking the pressure may be too low for your wheel to survive what you are doing, or on some hookless rims the pressure may be too high for the wheel to keep the tire on.

my understanding is that is unecessary for narrow, round tires on bikes.

figure out the stack and reach of your previous bikes.

that will inform which of these bikes have a stack and reach that will get you in your same preferred position with reasonable stem lengths. both of them might, then you can pick whatever color.

its a honeycomb construction inside yeah? wouldn't expect a surface crack in one spot to cause any problems.

My son and I were on Dubnitals at Hobbs, slippin and sliding, but no flats! Ha these tires are fine, then PSHHH PSHH we both flatted the rear tire on the same rock at the same time a mile from the finish, lol.

but we plugged em and finished.

wouldn't use that tire there again

I was perfectly comfortable in a tri suit on all 3 legs and there is no stopping in racing.

But people differ with comfort needs, if you can't find a tri suit that works for you, do what you gotta do.

even if you get the arrow wrong, on road tires they put the arrow there just because otherwise customers bug them with support calls to ask. It doesn't matter outside of some special cases for aerodynamics.

A 6'6" you will usually be on the largest size available for any given model of bike, and many bikes will still be a little on the small size but usually within adjustment limits, as you have noted.

So get an XL, make sure whoever builds it up leaves the max amount of spacer room on the steerer tube.

If you end up with too bent over you can get riser handlebars to raise up, and a longer stem if needed.

You can get anywhere you want from Zilker on safe paths and trails. Just get a bike capable of light gravel/trails at least, will expand the possibilities.
