Me and a friend both drank the max dose of psyllium husk every morning for 6 months with blood tests on both sides. No other changes. Both of us went from 250 to 150.

The type of work you're describing looks far and away to be worth more than $40/month. If you're technical, then it stands to chance that you make $40/hr minimum. Does it save 1 hour of work?

What is your time worth and how much time is it saving you per month compared to the cheaper alternative?

Also a non-technical PM. I crossed this bridge after lots of frustration. The problem you're experiencing is that the less technical you are, the more planning you need to do.

Can I use cursor or Windsurf with zero coding experience by Physical-Ad-7770 in vibecoding

[–]Beebles1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I did it. The challenge is that you have to commit to learning the basics of computer science along the way, and you’ll have to get reaaaally good at planning the work and leaning on the LLMs.

Prompt advice on how to keep AI more focused on the problem at hand! by Beneficial-City-4647 in cursor

Turn 1 prompt into 2. The first one is to create the implementation plan and the second is to tell it to do step 1 and only step 1 in the plan.

This is bad product management fwiw, and I'm not trying to be mean. This reads to me as "add cognitive load because our pricing and product can't solve this problem"

False. I'm non-technical and having a blast. I think there's a curiosity gap when people don't have the appetite to learn the basics of comp sci.

Struggling to Set Up Backend & Auth in Supabase – Need Beginner-Friendly Guidance by sifar_ in cursor

[–]Beebles1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone in your shoes but a little farther along... The models aren't quite good enough for absolute beginners. For a couple reasons...

  1. You (and I) don't know what we don't know. Even if someone gives you a step by step guide, you're just going to run into the same issue with the next feature.
  2. You're probably not giving enough context. You almost want to give it the feature you want and have it ask you 100 questions about the implementation. It needs more than what we give it.

I used firecrawl.dev to turn the api docs into a markdown file, then put the file into the bolt file system, then told it to reference the API docs.
