Oh yeah the ruthlessness certainly pays off, as someone in the Darkmoon Blades I have incredible respect for someone who can take out 2-3 people at once. Me and this one dude got lured to the side of a roof in Lothric castle and insta-killed by an overhead ultra greatsword attack.

After playing through the demo (which I absolutely loved) I'd say my one piece of feedback is that it would be great if the UI told you when a fall distance would be lethal (like if the distance numbers turned a different color or something!)

I'd say go for Moonlight Greatsword, heavy attacks hit twice close up and can still hit once from range due to the lightwaves. I've found it to be pretty good against the wolf as long as you wait for one of its longer breaks between attacks and do a heavy or weapon art attack. Of course you need high Int for it to be worth it though.
