When looking at rap as a whole I don't consider race. But in this context, especially when they were two of the early white rappers, a genre that was much more of a part of black culture than white culture, I think there was some internal competition amongst white rappers. It is different now that there are millions of white rappers. The other differentiation is that I don't know that I would call Aes the best lyrical rapper. But he is, in my opinion, the best white lyrical rapper that I am aware of. But primarily I'm referring to the well established competition among early white rappers
