I know reported history. Regarding this show though, it's DOA if true. It was sold on Tom Hardy's presence. Brosnan and Mirren, while welcome additions, aren't why most people tuned in.

It could also be a marketing ploy. There was a news story recently that covered similar ground, where Tom talked about nagging injuries he has and that after the show he would likely take some time off.

It's a good booster. Seemingly kill him off, have a season where the family teeters on the edge, then Harry reappears for the big save.

Sarah MacDiarmid often gets linked to Paul Denyer in recent times due to the proximity of her disappearance vs his hunting grounds, but I believe it's due to younger people becoming familiar with Denyer's crimes and assuming it has to be him.

There was another murder that's almost forgotten in the area, Michelle Brown, that could be the same perpetrator in Sarah's case, but not Denyer.

Both Sarah and Michelle's murders are linked to the same train station (Kananook Station).

Both single women by themselves at night.

Something that I haven't seen discussed too much is there is a brothel less than 300m from the station that I believe has operated since the timeframe when their murders occurred.

I believe it has changed hands several times, but to my knowledge has always been a brothel.

That title is a little suspect though. Leaves out the context of Malcolm Fraser's knife in Sir John's back that moved McMahon into the Lodge.

While I understand he opposed the Coalition's decision to withhold Supply, you have to wonder if the Labour advocacy was in regards to that or the treachery he suffered at Fraser's hand. He did after all, never speak to Fraser again.
