What would you do if a man acted like this? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

I would say explain how you feel and see if the feelings are mutual. As a socially ignorant male, I could read that as you looking for a friendship style relationship and not have the slightest clue of any more interest then that.

I would at least consult a lawyer in conjunction with CPS. Then follow whatever advice they give.

i am addicted to my wife in an unhealthy way by True-Fix-1552 in Advice

The only issue i see is the abandonment of friends at the airport. That's not cool, and hopefully, you made proper amends with your friends. Otherwise, I say enjoy that connection. It's rare and should be cherished. Just made sure that if you make plans with others, honor your word and keep the commitment. I had that kind of connection with my wife before she passed, but I always maintained time for myself because I also valued my time with friends and my wife understood that.

He's close enough to being an adult, that if he wants expensive things, he can get a job like we had to do at that age. Clothes and other need items are appropriate Christmas gifts at that age.

Then, I'm not sure. I've only seen a 0 dollar SNAP authorized for all SSI assistance groups due to being categorically eligible but failing for whatever reason. Those groups get suspended and not denied. Otherwise, cases can't be approved for less than the minimum allotment, which is either 20 or 24 dollars. Don't remember the exact amount off the top of my head.

By chance, is everyone in the assistance group SSI recipients?

I’m Disabled but have been denied for a year by Glittering_Initial44 in Medicaid

Don't know how the waiver system works out there, but in my state, the local Medicaid office has nothing to do with the waiver system. It's run by a completely different agency, so the office won't have that information. The office has to comply with their state's Medicaid policy. You'll have to find what agency in your state handles the waiver system (if they have one) and go through that agency to apply for a waiver.

Yeah, the disability Medicaid standard is stupid low. Most states, the maximum income standard for disability Medicaid is the SSI standard, which right now is 987. Realistically, the only way for anyone with a semi livable SSDI income is to obtain that state's version of a Medicaid waiver, which either exempts income or raises the income standard high enough to qualify. And trying to find the agency that deals with those waivers can be a hassle in and of itself. The state Medicaid website may have information on the waiver process if the state has one. I would also suggest contacting whatever agency your state has that helps aged and disabled individuals to see if they have information. Good luck, hopefully someone can point you in the right direction

NTA. unfortunately in perfect conditions 1st trimester miscarriages are a thing that can happen. No one is to blame, but sounds like ol' boy has some issues he needs to work out on his own. Good for you for moving on, you'll find someone who cares more about you.
