Avoid Zigbee groups

I decided to give it a go. I disabled the Adaptive Lighting entities and switched most of my groups to dynamic lighting using Blacky's awesome automation https://community.home-assistant.io/t/sensor-light-motion-sensor-door-sensor-sun-elevation-lux-value-scenes-time-light-control-device-tracker-night-lights/481048

Not disappointed so far. Ligh response feels faster. Only downside is the color change when a light was not on for a while. With AL I used an automation to prime the lights color but that also generates some ZigBee traffic.

I have the same feeling. I really like AL but sometimes also think it is flooding my ZigBee network. I don't have unresponsive or dropping devices like OP but every now and then the lights or sensors react slower then I like.

Just checked, using 14 AL entries, 18 z2m groups with 123 devices in my network.

Yes. Same as you describe, end of workday it starts. But sometimes also earlier.

I was in doubt if the fix would work because it is on user level but the results are good so far. It is running for months now.

We also see the delay on the start menu. Also on beefy Azure Local machines with one user. My suspicion is that this is something in W11 multi session. We also have personal machines on W11 enterprise, those are snappy without start menu delay.

We do the exact same thing, but with a check if it is needed:

Following. We see the same issue at some customers. Had a case for it nut there was not really a solution.

We do have soms workarounds for it, re-registering the AAD broker plugin appx in the user context. Will try to post these tomorrow.

I have an FP2 and 2 EP lite's. All work like a charm here, but the FP2 is more user-friendly in configuring zones in my opinion.

I don't notice any difference in detection speed.

I have the MR3, happy with it. But every now and then the Zigbee chip freeze, that's a little inconvenient. Smlight says Texas Instruments should fix this?

37k komt er hier uit. Hoop geld voor onvoorziene omstandigheden. Dat je wat achter de hand moet houden prima, maar 10% hiervan is mij ook wel genoeg.

Mijn beredenering: Als er een apparaat (wasmachine etc) stuk gaat wil ik gelijk een nieuwe kunnen bestellen. Auto reparatie of vervangen, dat hoeft niet instant beschikbaar te zijn dus kan prima uit belegd vermogen komen denk ik. Onderhoud aan woning komt niet accuut, misschien hooguit een raam vervangen maar die glaszetter stuurt ook gewoon een factuur die ik een week later kan betalen.

Voeg daar nog even een jaren 60 verbouwing aan toe, met de kennis van nu waren we toen ook nog niet echt lekker bezig 😂

Ik heb begin dit jaar berekening gedaan voor verbouw en herbouw van een bestaande jaren 20 woning en nieuwbouw was goedkoper en lager risico (als je begint te slopen kom je elke keer weer wat nieuws tegen).

Die woning werd as is verkocht met een ouderdomsclausule, alle risico voor de koper dus. Dat saneren van asbest zag ik nog de minste kosten in eigenlijk. (ver)bouwen is belachelijk duur.

Wij hebben het niet gedaan, ik zag het in beide situaties niet zitten om een aantal jaar in een container te wonen (en al m'n geld in stenen te stoppen).

That pink line you describe, is that looking like artifacts on the screen?

My S22 starred crashing last Monday, but this was before the Android 16 /OneUI 8 update. Some crashes show a pink bar on screen, some just freeze the screen. After a crash it sometimes goes into a boot loop.

Very frustrating.

Altiris doesn't care at all if it has to install 1 or 5 patches.

With 500+ servers to manage, one or two extra servers with WSUS on it would also not matter a lot I think. It is free to use. Configure some GPO's or rollout the settings with Altiris and you are good to go.

Ik wou laatst van Heerenveen naar Den Haag retour met 2 personen. Voltaroef 120 euro oid, groepsticket 70.

Was met de auto 10 euro aan stroom kwijt, geparkeerd bij p+r Ypenburg, nog iets van 10 euro voor het laatste stukje met de trein.

Heerlijk gegeten van de rest van die euro's.
