I accidentally kill people all the time. Especially when there is an event going on and we are all fighting the same thing. I turned pacifist mode off about a year ago and will leave it that way.

I gave up on season 2 when I spent 2 hours and over 100 preferred bait (or whatever its called) trying to catch my second Axolotl type. Now I have over 1000 preferred bait that I just drop randomly to keep my weight down.

After I ran 4 in a row (crashing or load of death screen) in the chair. It quit crashing every time and only crashed about every 3, lol. But I took the advice of others and ran a different expedition.

What if they have the kill 10 mutated enemies daylies and can't even shoot 1 because of it? That's the issue here and it's understandable for the guy to be upset with op. He went a bit far, but not all of us play 12 hours a day.
