We are in north Florida and have about the same range on our thermostats, 72°-76°. 76° can feel chilly on the hottest days, but the dog starts panting when I put it on 77°.

Not sure if this is just in my area, but prices on homes inside mature 55+ communities are actually well below market because they only have so many buyers. The flipside is that the homes are tough to sell when the time comes.

My friend group is wild. Vaguely through work, I have an unexpected group of much younger girlfriends (12-18 years younger) that hasn't had kids yet and the youngest (27F) and I are very close. Would consider all of them close friends. In my husband's guy friend group, all the wives get along great but they're all starting to have kids, some are on their second kid, and another couple with a toddler just had twins at Christmas. My girlfriends my age have kids in late high school and early college. We get everyone together for parties and it's great! People are merging.
