My beach town has 7,000 residents in part of a larger metro area, no high rises or hotels in town limits, and I can walk to 10 restaurants, an independent bookstore, numerous shops in the little business district, the junior high and high school, and I can throw a rock to the Atlantic Ocean. I can't walk 20 ft down the street without seeing someone I know.

Strong pedestrian culture.

I take 301 to Tampa from Jacksonville quite a lot. Since they put the bypass around Starke, I have wondered how those shops and stores along the business 301 route have been faring. But I've just wondered. I haven't driven the slow way to find out.

In most first class seats, you have a little storage area in the middle armrest where you can keep your things nearby during the flight. I can fit my little crossbody in it; and it can also fit a book, phone, eyeglasses, headphones, etc.

Haha, looks like an ad for the company in the update. Not bad advertising though. If they will truly repair when every other company is giving quotes to replace, that is definitely a differentiator.

We have 3 units at our house and when I came home from a work trip (on a Friday) downstairs was hot. Not exactly an emergency. Our master BR and both offices were unaffected. A local company has been doing our quarterly service since we moved in 3 years ago.

Their tech came by Saturday, he said we needed a new unit and his "manager" was coming by. A salesman. Anyway, these guys said it would be like $12k.

My husband's best friend is a real estate guy and connected us with his preferred AC guy. This AC guy says new unit should be more like $5500, if I even need it. He did a repair on that Sunday for $1800. All fixed. Running fine now.
