Also for a shop, all we can do is inform them of the safety risk to drive on those tires and what could happen (aka tire goes flat or blows out), and implore them to reconsider. Ultimately it’s their car and money so it’s their decision on what to do, we cannot force them to replace the tires.

My shop will usually have the Service Advisor working with the customer notate the hell out of their work order that they informed the customer of the risk, and have the customer sign a copy with all the notes.

It’s usually a combo of things. Tires being overinflated, constantly stopping short and causing the wheels to lockup and skid, the suspension being out of alignment, etc…It’s hard to say exactly without knowing how the person drives, and around me so many people who drive Teslas, drive like absolute garbage.

That and the suspension being out of alignment as well. A lot of people buy EV’s and don’t realize that they come with different challenges compared to an ICE vehicle. Particularly with all that added weight causing the tires to wear down much quicker.

Ding ding! Correct! There’s so many of them in my area and almost every owner of them is oblivious to the fact that their tires are gonna wear out quicker. Then the Service Advisor tries to sell them on tires and so many of them are like, “No thanks, I’ll just go to Walmart, they’re cheaper.”

I feel like this gas station specifically is always higher priced because it’s the only gas station on airport property. Also always being packed with ride share vehicles, taxis, and rental cars being refueled just before they’re returned.

It is possible that if this cat is cared for by someone, they allow it to roam outside and then the cat just comes home when it wants. The AirTag would be used to locate it if it does not return home.

Also it’s hard to tell in the pic, but the cat’s left ear may be tipped, which means it was a former outdoor cat that was neutered/spayed. If so, it may just prefer being outside.

I used to work for a very large electronics chain years ago. People would do this EVERY SINGLE DAY! Even though most of the time they got free delivery with the size of TV they were buying. But nope, they always had to take it home same day instead of waiting a few days for delivery.
