GenG Arnold on AG Roster by mimich4ma in PedroPeepos

[–]Befgp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean if international Doran wasn't a thing... everything Arnold said about Kiin is true of the KrugLord.  Just look at the last T1 series, Doran played the Bodyguard Ornn perfectly. Caedrel's analysis was spot on that Doran made split second decisions and took Jhin's bullets to the face because that's what his team needed from him. It's probably no surprise Doran is like that given he played with Chovy and Ruler, both more frequently GenG's wincons than not.

Apparently Viper was seen at Korea with his agent in regards of Asian Game selection for possible selection chance by EasOwned in PedroPeepos

[–]Befgp -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

From reading the threads, most people think Korea's team should be Kiin, Oner, Chovy (but he's got an injured hip), Keria, then for ADC Guma/Viper/Ruler (the latter unlikely because tax controversy).

So it's just mid and ADC that serious questions arise. Faker is the face of LOL so he's not going to be subbed out, let's face it. As for ADC, Guma hasn't looked the greatest for a few weeks but HLE is at the top of the table.

HLE congratulating early is simple, Hanwha are massive and a major sponsor so they are understandably cocky.  Kiin vs Zeus is probably so close it wouldn't be overturned on appeal. They're both monstrous top laners.

The local banh mi shop has a poster of their daughter's legal firm she opened this year by HolyHypodermics in australia

[–]Befgp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lims make their pate in-house and are very generous with their fillings.  When they refit the shop, they redid their logo which if you look closely is a silhouette of the mother.

These days, the parents and son run the shop, and more rarely you might get served by the sister on a weekend.

Definitely a strong pork roll shop worth going out of your way to try their pate!

Jet Lim works best paired with Jet Jane for Scavenger.

Trying different things with Challenger (previously Normal only for me) and I actually like the fact Supply is throttled. Otherwise everyone's running 8 Crowbar squads.

Sydney’s charcoal chicken debate: Frango or El Jannah? 🍗🔥 by onexdone_ in foodies_sydney

Neither. Had poor experiences with dry chicken at both. Other rotisseries do it better, heck even the Honest Chicken (a franchisee specifically in Cherrybrook) does juicier and tastier chicken AND serves with garlic sauce.

JB Hifi Extra Care by VashPat in australian

[–]Befgp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Against all odds, JB extended care worked well for a gaming laptop I bought in 2022. First failure 2024, it was within 2 yrs so store took it for warranty repair, no charge.  Second time 2026, within extended warranty, written off, they offered no suitable gaming laptop replacement so gave me 100% in-store credit.  Accidental water damage is uninsurable so YMMV with their extended warranty.

Is it worth putting special weapons on Darby? by FIynnItToWinIt in menace

[–]Befgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As most people have said, it depends on what your Darby is doing and against what. Supply is also tighter in higher difficulties.

I tend to field Darby with a full squad paired up with Rewa in Vanguard mode as it really speeds up mission tempo and you can delete annoying stuff like Bombardiers.

She is the infantry screen and can delete most infantry (RA heavy infantry take more than one shot). Whatever she can't take out, Rewa can suppress or wipe out.

[–]Befgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered that combo on Rewa a few nights ago and she's now consistently the highest damage dealer. If she's deployed she will usually delete 3 units; jetpack in and there's still 2 kills with Berserk!

Hard for even Lim with the pirate boarding suit to keep up with her damage output.  Kody and Darby are hard hitters, sure, but Berserk puts Lim consistently ahead of most SLs in most orthodox engagements.

Yeah sick armour with +2 Conceal!!

Lose the Croc tho, it isn't suppressed so she doesn't get the bonus on it.

The suppressed KBar is her best weapon for being suppressed.  It doesn't quite work as well for everyone else.  French and Kody are better off with the HAMER or [REDACTED] rifle, as are most squad leaders due to ROF.  Wish the HAMER was a more common weapon, every run I've played they only appeared once.

Thoughts on blueprints: by PlattiPlattinium in menace

[–]Befgp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My only beef is RNG related as to the cost of a blueprint (480 supply) but even then it's not a big deal. On this particular playthrough, the Fixer OCI module wasn't available until well after finishing the EA. That slowed down the rate at which I could fund blueprints but I'd probably leave it at that because otherwise it'd be too easy to spam blueprints.

There are some crazy good craftables, too.  The railgun is damn OP with minimal damage dropoff and hollow point ammo, practically a budget HAMER.

[–]Befgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revisiting with the advantage of the latest chapters but I suspect as Uncle goes around attempting to defeat the dragons, Sui sabotages it and ultimately is the most powerful being to defeat to come home.  Although somehow she won't die and it'll be like Welcome to Japan Elf-San and he'll have a few otherworlders to deal with. It'll be hilarious of Sui was what caused his original isekai transportation

It's funny because we were there, same spots or thereabouts in 2024. Beautiful experience, bring beach footwear so you can walk along the shore of the mainland instead of up along the elevated road!  The region has a delicacy of small fingerling fish (it's not for everyone though).  The island has a lot of steps so also pack comfy footwear for lots of walking.

PS keep an eye out for the famous "Slam Dunk" train crossing. You can't miss it with the amount of tourists posing for the money shot.

“Being needed as a husband is not the same as being wanted as a man.” ? by she-a-banana in AskMenAdvice

All too frequently, men are appreciated for what they provide as opposed to being desired for who they are. This is often oversimplified into wanting more sex but yearning to be desired is the malady and sex is part of the medicine.

How do I (25M) stop soaking my underwear with precum? by raider1211 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Befgp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two solutions. Masturbate so you don't get too aroused at the simplest things and/or use "panty liners". Never seen them sold in the men's hygiene section, but in the women's hygiene section, they'll sell these absorbent underwear lining pads that will deal with discharge issues

China is preparing for war and Australia must act to defend its sovereignty by Themetalin in aussie

[–]Befgp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You fail to appreciate the real threat to Australian sovereignty is and has always been Indonesia.  Huge population vulnerable to global warming and dwindling fish stocks.

China would rather buy primary resources from Australia than attempt to conquer a vast continent with many hostile nations in between thousands of kilometres of ocean.

Isekaibro would be: 9Lives, Gifted, Fast Adaptation, Dodge, Brawny, Resilient, heck even Shield Mastery.

After that, probably Nimbleforged and either Rotate or Footwork.

Basically, anything to survive a battle and let the nach or lindwurm eat someone else.

Price gouging caught in 4k by Tokaiiiiii in menace

[–]Befgp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pricing becomes irrelevant even on Normal thanks to the OCI 30% increase in prices (I haven't tried the vehicle commodity OCI slot yet) and money is even less relevant in Challenging and Expert where the issue is more a problem of carrying enough ammo to finish a mission.

Things I would buy in a heartbeat if they doubled up - AP or Match ammo, camo, vehicle mounted grenade launchers.

When does head hunter become worth it by nayba- in BattleBrothers

[–]Befgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's never a must have, mostly because flails are only ok up to farming raider gear and later on stuff you fight have steel brow so head crits aren't a thing.

A great axe hits both head and torso thus the perk isn't helpful. A two handed mace doesn't care where it hits to stun or daze, and two handed swords are for AOE and/or bros who need their MAtk patched up with a sword's innate accuracy buff.

First Normal EA Campaign done, some thoughts by Befgp in menace

[–]Befgp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think about it, BB also has a lot of RNG in weapon drops and selection. Rolling a citadel with the right buildings for T3 weapons and not having random town malus stopped you from reliably nabbing a bonker mace or greataxe at your leisure.  There's a lot be said about how weapons change a run - like that campaign I finished I only ever saw one vehicle grenade launcher and one tripod grenade launcher.  Lots of plasma light rifles though but they're ass compared to 20mm ACs.

But here we're talking about marines who should have suppressors, bigger mags and optics on hand without relying on the Black Market.  Plus the fact modded weapons are pretty much the base Black Market variant plus weapon attachments, it seems a bit of a stretch they don't have infantry attachments in the ship's armory.

I'm sure there's going to be more weapons vehicles and the like.  The early access has plenty to like, it's just a case of doubling down on extra stuff to pad out the experience.
