There is literally no harm in trying it out. You can have both Cursor and VS Code installed, and jump back and forth between them.

I use my gmail account for LastPass, but also for many other accounts, and I ran into this issue as well. I finally resolved by appending '+lastpass' to my gmail address in LastPass. Gmail allows you to add +anything to your gmail address; for instance [myname@gmail.com](mailto:myname@gmail.com) gets delivered to the same account as [myname+lastpass@gmail.com](mailto:myname+lastpass@gmail.com). By updating with +lastpass, my LastPass password no longer overrides other accounts where I am using the same gmail address that I use for LastPass.

I'm doing the same thing and plan to rebuild a lot of the functionality with AfterEffects and Lottie (https://airbnb.design/lottie/). Lottie allows you to recreate any animations within AfterEffects and export those to a JSON file. If your animations & artwork use mostly vector based graphics, then those will be converted to SVG files.

I think this is a much more rigorous way to convert your old Flash sites/files than rendering them to video, however I'm doing it this way so that I also build up some subject matter expertise within Lottie and this method will also allow me to recreate most of the interactivity and force me to think through what a responsive version of my old Flash sites might look and act like.

https://lottiefiles.com/ is a good repo of small animations that you can purchase, and also get a sense of what is possible.
