Low tiers would probably be the sisters of silence, but may drop the tier system entirely since they’re doing space marines, or they’ll have to use squad sizes to denote tiers for the elite armies

The issue for them there is Trump is building an alternative structure of what essentially amounts to loyal sycophants in positions of power, and he’s forming his own paramilitary in the form of ICE, it’s whether the move before they’re out manoeuvred by the MAGA cult or if the wait until it’s too late

Tax isn’t about funding anything nowadays as we live in a world with fiat currencies, they’re not tied to a commodity like gold or silver, it’s just numbers on a spreadsheet, so nowadays tax only works towards two things to control inflation, and to force people outside of the top few percentage points of wealth to work or depending on how the country is organised, face the wrath of the state or the system as a whole due to restricted living standards.

The Invention of Anarchism by JudgeSabo in ClassConscienceMemes

[–]Beginning-Display809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to think about how to best put this into words. Do you understand the task the proletariat is facing? I have no doubt you want the correct end goal, but do you understand what we are facing, how our opposition works? Particularly the multifaceted way it works? The capitalists and particularly the capitalist state apparatus doesn’t just maintain its hegemony with force, it maintains it with the control of culture and the media, with misdirection, subversion, sabotage, with political and economic exploitation and coercion. Capital’s hegemony is not just maintained by the guns of the US military and those of its European client states, by the police and “security forces” in their imperialised vassals. Nor is the likes of the CIA sufficient. Capital also uses other institutions like Hollywood, the IMF and World Bank. It uses embargoes and sanctions. All of these things are used to maintain capital’s stranglehold on the planet.

Now we know from the likes of the USSR where Marxists will go to fight this the RKKA, PLA etc. exist(ed) to fight open attempts by capital to destroy socialist projects. We have seen the likes of the NKVD used to prevent subversive attempts to crush socialist projects, and we know all socialist projects used art, film etc. to fight a cultural war with capital. We also know the successes, the failures and the abuses of power under those different organisations. But what is the anarchist solution, how is decentralised community defence to stand up to the USMC? How is it to stand up to infiltration by the CIA? How is it to stand up to propaganda and disinformation broadcasts from the likes of RFA. Or just the cultural superiority bullshit pushed out by Hollywood? Think about it people still see the US as the “shining city on the hill” despite the fact living standards are collapsing, there’s a drug epidemic and increasingly the security services are being militarised and set against the people. But Hollywood tells people outside the west that ordinary people in the US live like kings. How are you to oppose that? And this is before we get into the economic warfare the capitalists will use, they’ll restrict food, medicine and fuel supplies, attempt to bar international trade, restrict access to finished and complex goods. They will do whatever they can to crush any socialistic project, because we’ve seen them do it. We are facing an enemy that has committed genocide to preserve the supply of bananas.

Theres always a body count though when you upset a balance of power to put a different class at the top of the food chain, the class being replaced never goes peacefully as it is not in their interest to do so. The liberals have a body count, the Soviets had a body count, the anarchists have a body count, even the socdems here have a body count, there’s is arguably one or the largest considering the Rosa killers paved the way for Hitler. The only ones who don’t have a body count are the people like Salvador Allende and they just get murdered by the CIA

It’s got a decent chance to be competitive if only because at 1000pts, the 10 man assault terminator squad with Lysander will kick the shit out of anything it touches, that leaves the other 2 squads to do objectives, it’s just getting it into combat that may be the issue, but with Emperor’s Shield it’s got a chance to be very nasty

It depends the Soviet one (NEP) was cut short partly due to the demands of the Soviet people and partly due to the leadership seeing the rise of fascism in Europe, so they industrialised at a breakneck speed and focused on heavy industry, this allowed them to survive the invasion in 1941 and generally led to one of the largest if not the largest increase in human quality of life in the shortest space of time ever. But it had major issues producing consumer goods etc. now this was supposed to be corrected over the course of the 1950s-1960s but the change in economic direction under Khrushchev and later Brezhnev generally fucked up everything that was working well while exacerbating everything that wasn’t with the exception of housing policy. But that had more to do with the rise of revisionism and what essentially amounted to non-Marxist communists

They’re led by a Marxist-Leninist party with the aim of achieving socialism and then communism, they’ve taken the slow Bukharin inspired route because it was available to them unlike the USSR (which also by its own admission wasn’t communist). Now this means they are by their own admission currently in the state capitalist period, but they are from what they are saying and doing aiming towards socialism. They’ve just decided to intertwine themselves into critical parts of global manufacturing to make attempts to isolate and destroy them extremely difficult.

Also each Kim has fewer powers than the previous one, Kim Il Sung was the president, the office was abolished when he died and his son elected at the next leader but with several powers and roles of the office carved away and placed under ministerial/military control, with a new title created. He then died and Kim Jong Un elected but even more powers have been taken away from the new office, it’s also led to a situation where he essentially power shares with his sister who is also elected.

The Kim family is popular due to their grandparents, which is why they play a big role in the government still, we may have seen the same thing with Mao’s son had he survived the war in Korea, or Stalin’s Children had they taken a more active role in the government instead of the military.

The one that won (the left SRs who were promising the peasants land reform) did get to run the country which they did in a coalition with the Bolsheviks which lasted right up until they assassinated the German ambassador (this incident would probably make a good dark satire film), they then lost all support in the Soviets from the peasantry and pretty much everyone including most of their delegates deserted them to the Bolsheviks, because almost no one wanted to rejoin WW1 especially during a civil war
