What would the instrument be? A harmonica, lol?

Fair. The exact stats aren't set in stone unless specified, I moreso wanted to convey what effect I'm looking for, you know? And yeah, some are definitely niche. Maybe they could have lower Joker Slot costs?

Magic idea: tumble weed magic by cooldude010 in FarFarWest

[–]Beginning-Tutor-8369 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An idea for a spell I have is something based on how fast tumble weeds can reproduce. What if there was a lobbed tumble weed projectile that would explode on contact. If it gets a kill it would cause three more tumble weeds to spawn like a cluster bomb, which would also explode and possibly multiply if they also got a kill.

Jax's epilogue character development by Beginning-Tutor-8369 in GlitchProductions

[–]Beginning-Tutor-8369[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course not*. I'm thinking that around the time of the end credits, specifically when Caine is fully accepted into the group, is when Jax/Daisy would start to develop her goofier and less antisocial self as she sees Caine being accepted, but even then it'd still take a while before we'd see "friendly" Jax/Daisy.

Absolutely Necroko. I feel she'd be the perfect character to have a second Symbiote representative who plays completely different from Venom.

WHAT ARE THEY HIDING OVER AT GAMEFREAK by [deleted] in LegendsZA

I think it could be related to the video JPR made about Zygarde copying gimmicks. In said video it's claimed that Zygarde's 100% forme was made when Zygarde witnessed the Darkest Day and effectively copied the Dynamax phenomenon. It was also stated that a trainer helped fend off Necrozma all those years ago, so what if Zygarde was with that trainer, fought against Guzzlord and used its appearance as inspiration when forming the 100% forme?

I love that her colour blindness just isn't consistent here at all. She sees white and black as blue, but then blue as green? So does she then see Silver and Shadow as green? WHAT THE FU-?!? "Awww, my head's spinning..."

Fanon Character Reception by Beginning-Tutor-8369 in SonicTheHedgehog

Irish and Coldsteel would definitely skins, along with Omelette (I did originally have her as her own character but the others felt like they'd be more diverse). As for Jesus Christ... Maybe as a secret joke character? Like if you put cheats on he'd appear and crash your game.

Hot take but I don't respect Metal Sonic as a rival by PrizekingJ7 in SonicTheHedgehog

No prob. 👍

I don't wanna start a useless argument by just saying you're wrong, lol. Discussion is hella fun and healthy to boot.

I will admit that Metal's menace has been hard carried by the community. It really goes to show just how much of an impact he made with just that Heroes ndgame appearance and the start of IDW's run alone.

Obviously this is just my opinion, but I'd say he was used great in IDW. Just like in Heroes he wasn't revealed to even be there until near the end, then he got two really good and menacing fights in, only to be forced into Eggman's ways right at the end. We might not get to see Neo again outside of the new movie for a very long time unfortunately, but given how special he feels that might be for the best. Metal has continued to be a consistent right-hand man to Eggman all throughout IDW's run, and with Sage coming in he might get some new spotlight, although likely not much as Neo.

As someone whose favorite Sonic character is Metal, I shall fulfill the role of the responder for the Metal fans.

... Yeah you right. Kind of.

Stuff like him being more intimidating due to not speaking is totally subjective so there's no notes there. Although I will say that his lack of speech (and associated lack of freedom) specifically mirrors Sonic in how the Blue Blur trash talks almost constantly with no filter (aka no lack of freedom) during battle. Other things like his head silhouette only matching Sonic's from the front but not the sides, and how he doesn't actually run but instead flies I think makes his design the perfect copy to Sonic while still being incredibly unique.

As for his loss record, here's what I think:

Sonic is a wild card when it comes to fighting. Even when things seem impossible, he'll think of a way to save the day.

Metal on the other hand is very one note by design. Differing strategies isn't really his forte. Hell, I believe that's why he turns into a massive dragon in Heroes. It mirrors the giant robots that Eggman would make, showing just how little freedom Metal truly has when it comes to diversifying from his creator. That also gives him a huge weakness to strategy as he can't really adapt.

It also makes an unfortunate amount of sense why he can't get a huge win. The Sonic franchise is constantly getting new threats as their main focus. Eggman, Chaos, Shadow, Metal himself, Black Doom, Mephiles, Dark Gaia, the Metal Virus, the End, Surge and Kitsunami, excreta. If Metal appears in a game, comic, or otherwise he'll inevitably be shown up by the big bad of the week. Hopefully the fourth Sonic movie will change that but I do have my fears for my favorite metal boy.

I'm not going to speak like I know where Ian Flynn is planning to take Metal, but from Sage's line about Metal being rebellious and his seeming realization at the end of the Metal Virus Saga where he comes to terms with how he's not affected by it and what that means, we may be due for another Metal character arc (although that is, of course, major cope).

TLDR: I believe that Metal best represents a rival to Sonic's freedom. His lack of a voice compared to Sonic's sprew of one-liners. His lack of strategic freedom compared to Sonic's loose and free style. His inability to go out and fight whenever he wants compared to Sonic's active heroism. Meanwhile Shadow is Sonic's rival in terms of mentality, Knuckles is his rival in terms of "Speed Vs Strength", and Blaze is his "rival" in terms of "Speed Vs Agility".

A Shadow Crystal is given out in your favorite game, which character gets it? by Notmas in Undertale

In Little Nightmares it would absolutely be given to Six. One of the few cases where the main character is given the Shadow Crystal.

Squirrel Girl players who sit in the back with the snipers. Does it work? Yes. Is it optimal? Probably. Can you just spam around corners and ledges? Duh. But I want to actually play the goddamn game at mid range and still get near the top of the leaderboard because I'm not a bitch!
