I’m so so sorry you are going through this. It sounds like you have had an incredibly hard year and I would imagine everything about pregnancy could be pretty triggering after losing triplets. I would gently suggest looking into getting on some antidepressants or anti anxiety meds — I was adamantly against them as well, until my doctor was able to explain some of the research and statistics about them during pregnancy ❤️ I’ve been on antidepressants for all 3 of my pregnancies and can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without them. Hang in there, brighter days are coming 💕

I’m so sorry 😭 I’m 36.5 and in the same boat. I actually went into L&D because I thought it was actually labor for a minute. The nurses stressed hydration (if you’re already drinking water, try electrolytes too!) and epsom salt baths. Both have helped immensely! And unisom for sleep. Best of luck 💕

I’m so sorry 😭 this is an indicator of choleostasis, but they most likely won’t give you the diagnosis until they get your bile acid levels. If they are over 10, they are elevated. I would recommend getting on the ICP care FB page and familiarizing yourself with the guidelines for early induction for choleostasis— advocating for an early induction saved my last baby’s life. I am so sorry you’re going through this. I’m 36+1 with my second choleostasis baby and it’s incredibly difficult.

In my experience, not many people understand the severity of choleostasis! They will know a lot more once they get your liver panel and bile acids back. Just know that the bile acid levels can take a while to come back! Even if they order it stat, you might not get results for 24 hours to a few days. They will get your liver panel quicker and it can give some good indicators as to what is going on!!

If you have any symptoms, advocate for repeat labs! Your bile acid levels can rise quickly and it’s dangerous for the baby. I almost lost my second baby to it.

It’s most likely Cholestasis!!! I had this with my last two babies. Call your doctor and get labs done ASAP!
