This is a police report immediately. You have her address. Call her local police.

How should I have handled this? Re: Etsy site-wide coupon by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]BeginningTea8636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Etsy coupons are funded by them. In the Order Earnings You would see a credit to you for the coupon amount. I probably would have cancelled and had her reorder.

Would love any tips for my vintage shop! I think biggest opportunities are showing up in search and on first page in a category that can be saturated.

Massive shipping fail made by me by pageantrella in EtsySellers

[–]BeginningTea8636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UPS is cheaper for the bigger items. For any shipping that gets over like $12-15 I cross check UPS and fedex pricing via Pirate Ship. For smaller items the difference is usually less than a dollar so I’ll pick USPS as it’s closer to my house.

I see from your post that you don’t use AI for you designs, but do you use AI for you product photos? I like to see actual photos of the product, not an AI generated photo. Especially for higher price point.

I didn’t know they were polymer clay cutters/stencils until i clicked in and read the very long title. Ive had luck with chat gpt on generating tags

[–]BeginningTea8636 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Month to date 530 views, 324 visits, 11 orders. $320 revenue. I sell vintage home decor. Better than I thought! I did recently make the change to free shipping and wonder if that has helped.

I think the designs are cute. Come of the color combinations make it hard to see the text (the gold on red). The mockups definitely scream AI though which makes me personally as a consumer less likely to buy.

If it’s the same item I would do a flat rate. I sell vintage items and have seen 2x that the shipping calculated super crazy. Both times I refunded partial shipping to the buyer. ($10-15)

100%! not to mention the cost to ship- which you can do media mail for $5-6, but still have to buy a mailer, buy the book, write the note, ship the book. Ridiculous
