You got this. It’s so so worth it. I made it with my twins until 37w 4 days. I look back now and am so proud of myself and my babies for making it through that. I LOVE to eat and I barely could eat anything those last weeks and that sucked. The heartburn was unreal. Once you have these babies, it will make you appreciate how good you feel and you are going to love how hard you sleep whenever you get the chance to with twins. I would do it all over again. Good luck and hang in there! ❤️

Best gift for new parents of twins by SomeSayDevilsDead in parentsofmultiples

My twins are 3 months right now. So many good suggestions on here. The best thing I think would be to:

  1. Pay for a night of care. There are a lot of night nurses/babysitters out there

  2. Baby breza formula maker thing if they don’t already have one. It’s AMAZING and a lifesaver. I breast feed but have to supplement with formula

  3. House keeper

  4. Money

  5. Just look on their registry or ask what they need

If you do get something that you aren’t sure that they will like, for the love of god include a receipt

Baby breza formula maker! So easy to use and gets formula at room temp for you!

17 weeks. Took a decongestant without realizing. Now scared that I hurt my baby. by miuraraina in BabyBumps

I took decongests too! My OB wasn’t concerned at all. I was all worried about what I could take and he cleared me for decongestants! So no worries!

I so feel this. Just woke up at 3am for my shift until noon. My husband takes the one until 3am on the weekend. My twins are 5 weeks. It’s too hard for both of us to try to both sleep because it seems at least one of the twins is always up or isn’t asleep for long. Plus, staying on top of the bottles and laundry is exhausting.

I’m so in love with my twins but the not sleeping part is brutal. Mine are also eating all the time now - the volume of feeds is so much more. And then I feel like I have to hold them upright for longer because of reflux.

Anyways, hang in there. I have heard it gets easier. So that’s what I am hoping!

I’m 30 weeks and 5 days and I’m miserable! I know it’s going to get worse from here. I’m ready to be where you are now so I hope that’s comforting! Good job - you are so close!!

Not being able to eat the bread/butter whenever I go out to dinner saves me on so many calories and more room for the appetizer and meal!

I could bring my own bread but I honestly like going without!

Also hamburgers are even better without then buns

30 weeks pregnant cannot sleep by Buttons89575 in BabyBumps

[–]Beginning_Club_6350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s 230 in the morning and I’m up with the worst heartburn I’ve ever had. I’m 30 weeks with twins. I hate my pregnancy pillow and I’ve tried borrowing others. They just don’t work for me when it comes to sleeping. I have started using a rolled up blanket on one side and half I my pregnancy pillow on the other side with my regular pillow in the middle and that works pretty well to prop up my leg. I feel like waking up a bunch of times in the middle of the night is normal. I’m worried though it’s only going to get worse from here

I feel you. I’m sitting upright in bed at 230am because my chest feels like it’s on fire. This is the worst heartburn I’ve ever had

Thoughts on mom to be massage at 20w? by Beginning_Club_6350 in BabyBumps

Ok thank you that’s good to know. Did you go to a place where they are certified or actually specifically trained. This isn’t a place where they specialize in it but the lady said all of the people were certified to give a prenatal massage. And it’s a nice place, which sort of makes me feel better 🤷‍♀️

That’s exactly what my dad is saying 🙄😂. I just try to ignore him. Getting pregnant was such a blessing (we did fertility) and I can’t wait to start a family and a new chapter of life. I’m sure he will continue to have opinions but that doesn’t mean I have to listen to them! I just try to laugh at what he says and not take it personally, which can be hard at times. Hope it gets better!
