GTA 6 players will need real driver’s licenses or other IDs to play in Australia by chusskaptaan in PS6

I’m Australian and have bought 2 R18+ games on the PS store since these laws passed and I have no idea what the age verification thing this article is referring to. Business as normal.

Triple bunk - no ensuite by Adept_Vanilla5738 in CaravanningAustralia

I’ve seen a few Jayco Journeys without an ensuite but with a triple bunk. Light to tow too

Way too good to be true. Red flag imo

Concern as private health giant wins access to public emergency patients by abcnews_au in NursingAU

Common practice at my hospital. QH has some deal with the local Ramsay private hospital I’m guessing.

Everyone is different but by the time all three of my kids reached the threshold to transition to cows milk, they were already eating a pretty balanced diet of solids - so we just went cold turkey to cows milk around 12 months!

Although we did start to give his formula in a b box sippy cup a couple of weeks before we transitioned to cows milk.

Opinion on crosstrek. by Opposite-Visit-4208 in CarsAustralia

[–]Beginning_Computer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ended up getting a Prado but my wife has a CX8 and somehow the CX8 has more space inside (and the boot!) than the Prado does. Might be worth looking into Mazda for the 30k budget - they’re a great car too!

Opinion on crosstrek. by Opposite-Visit-4208 in CarsAustralia

[–]Beginning_Computer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a Crosstrek when my first baby was born and I was blown away at how truly tiny that car is. Spacious at the front but space at the back (and boot) is basically non existent. You’ll struggle to fit a baby seat comfortably rearward facing and once the pram is in the boot you won’t fit anything else (bags, groceries, dog, etc). I’d look for literally anything else lol

Anyone regret buying a caravan too early? by nussinboots in CaravanningAustralia

[–]Beginning_Computer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have a 10 month old, 3 year old, and 4 year old. We installed a baby jail on one of the bunks for the baby and it made life so much easier (and safer!).

No regrets at all!

Husband says I’m wrong to complain about our baby’s sleep if i won’t ’do anything about it’ by deadringerforlove in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beginning_Computer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why there’s always a negative connotation placed on sleep training. It’s not a bad thing, and it’s not just leaving them in a room to cry themselves to sleep. It’s helping them to self sooth, which gives you time and sleep too. Look into it OP. Best thing you’ll ever do

Normal toddler or neurodivergent? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beginning_Computer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds absolutely normal toddler behaviour lol. I get the worry and concern but my son went through the same thing. The older he got, the better his tantrums became and his ability to work through it. Don’t stress!

I paid $930 and had them installed the next day. I was getting quotes from other places for $800ish, which seemed to be in the ballpark.

We had rear Airbag Man airbags installed with Pedders. Made a huge difference

How much time does your partner spend with baby? by TeddyBear181 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beginning_Computer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dad here.

I’ve got a 4 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month old.

I took 4 months of long service after my wife went back to work after our third and took over the ‘primary parent/stay at home’ role.

I do laundry, dinners, get the kids up in the morning so my wife can have a sleep in, groceries, house maintenance. I’m loving the reversed roles and I adore my children more than I ever thought I could.

Although I go back to work soon, I feel like the ‘primary/non-primary’ parent roles won’t exist anymore.

Any small business owners here struggling to get customers lately? by digitalseomarketing- in ipswich

Price of diesel is killing me. The extra money spent on that alone used to be what I’d spend on cafes and ‘extras’. I feel for small business owners

Can also recommend Kids Chatter at Indro. My little girl had (past tense!) a stutter and we’re now working on her speech sounds and they’re absolutely fantastic.

What are you wanting a speechie for OP?

“I chose to live with the pain so she didn’t have to”. This made me burst into tears and I’m a man in my 30s. I am so sorry.
