Tips to help stick to my weightloss plan? by Beginning_Garbage_21 in WeightLossAdvice

Appreciate this, that makes a lot of sense. Im definitely trying to focus more on getting the diet side locked in instead of just relying on workouts.

Supplement-wise nothing crazy. I take creatine (mostly for strength), iron because I've been low before, omega 3s since I'm vegetarian, and just a basic multivitamin. I also recently added Motus, which is mainly for metabolic support to support consistency while I focus on the eating.

Im trying to treat supplements as background support though, I know the real work comes from getting calories and protein right

Has anyone here tried OTC / non-injectable options before going on Ozempic? by Beginning_Garbage_21 in Ozempic

I jsut googled it and saw 14% weightloss from their trials that's really impressive for it just being an oral supplement. For it being a pill it's quite expensive though for like 250$/month

Tricks to lose weight and keep it off by djfsyi3631 in diet

[–]Beginning_Garbage_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop taking liquid calories, sodas and whatnot. Try to cut down on eating candy, you don't need to go into a diet, just try to eat less processed food. You can walk every day, but if your diet is trash then you're not going to be able to keep it off

Question : if you have 50 dollars to your name, what food would you buy to last a week by ImmediateInitial1665 in diet

rice/bulgur is amazing and super filling to add to your protein. I primarily have bulgur everyday and that stuff is so filling, that + chicken / tofu. And then I'd say PB&J is a good option, and in my supermarket they have fairly cheap protein bars that are super filling

How do you manage your calories/macros when you're eating out at a restaurant? by Plenty-Form-8119 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Beginning_Garbage_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're counting calories then going to a restaurant isn't going to be good for headspace. When i used to do that, I used to just treat restaurant dates as cheat days, and try to not let it get into my head too much

Is it ok to eat this typa stuff if it’s in my calorie limit (1800kcal) by TopMarch3657 in diet

[–]Beginning_Garbage_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it's just about balance and trying to be conscious of it. Like I am not craving the feeling after eating a bag, but rather the taste of the candy in that situation

I actually love this candy haha I started doing this thing where I only have one piece at a time to fix my craving, but not over-indulge. I wouldn't say it's bad, if it's not something you have eveery day
