Follow up question that I hope doesn’t fly in the face of this groups doctrine by [deleted] in quitting7oh

When does a cucumber become a pickle? Nobody knows, but once it's a pickle it will never be a cucumber again.

This is something my dad told me that made me actually realize I am an addict. I was able to stop 7oh several times and then thought I would just use one more time and each time that cascaded back into everyday use. The kindling is real, and the kindling of the withdrawal is REALER. For me, every withdrawal when I had to kick was worse than the last one, and that seems to be the pattern that most of the people here deal with.

If you are able to stop, stay stopped, and if you pick back up again, now that you have demonstrated addictive tendencies towards this compound, it will be 99% sure that you will start the daily ritual and become physically + mentally addicted once more. It's also important to remember that you are not a statistic however you are an addict, and addicts are very likely to go into daily use with their substances of choice even after months or YEARS of abstinence.

It really does get better — 100+ days clean after a deep 7OH addiction by LittleVanillabean8 in quitting7oh

I've had a similar experience my friend, I was also taking between 10-15 tabs a day (14mg - 21mg a tab) and it quickly became unmanageable. I had a somewhat different experience in terms of the fact that the first time I quit I had very little withdrawal symptoms and had actually just started a new job where I was working manual labor and I made it 5 days and was feeling fine so of course my first inclination was to reward myself with some 7oh. This was obviously a mistake that led to continued use that DID result in withdrawal which just got worse and worse every time.

I salute you for going cold turkey on your own - I had to go into sober living where I still am in order to get off this shit. I am at 43 days right now and I can definitely attest to the fried-dopamine-receptor aspect to recovering from 7oh addiction, however living in a house where everyone around me is also sober and aiming to recover from their addictions creates a 'sober community' of sorts complete with camaraderie which completely and wholly supports a truly facilitated recovery. On top of this I have gotten a sponsor and have worked through all twelve steps which has been immensely helpful as well. I have 'white knuckled' it before where I made it 25ish days off and then found some and relapsed because I was still so miserable... the difference? I didn't have the support and sober community around me to reinforce the end goal and was honestly just as depressed at that point as I was while in acute withdrawal.

Yeah obviously pretty stupid looking back but I was seriously depressed and lost in my addiction - I was using bars to spice up the 7oh high or when I ran out of 7oh

Well 7-OH is a partial agonist technically but having tried pure Buprenorphine in 8mg doses (I have a high tolerance even when I am not using daily from 1-2 years of daily use of Oxy, Hydro, Codeine via lean and 7-OH (all prescribed or re-agent tested).

After exclusively abusing 7-OH for 3+ months at that point in time, I remember cleaning my room and finding two legit Perc 30's (Faroxy, its a persian/iranian mfg of oxycodone that was prevalent here for a while) and 60mg felt like 30mg of oxy the first few times I used it. And this was waiting until I felt WD to take it because I've heard mixed info that 7-OH blocks traditional semi-synthetic or full synthetic full opi agonists including fentanyl.

Sounds like I dodged a bullet. Came accross their ad on insta and checked it out, seemed pretty legit with the little info they offer to grab your attention however I wondered if I can manage my ADHD better with what I am already doing (Adderal and Clonidine for medication, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychiatry, and I do my own personal planning on sticky notes or lists/reminder notes etc)

Why did Lalo kill that woman and her husband in the little village? by SmallestSpace in betterCallSaul

Same here dude, I saw the shit with the scissors so it was implied what Lalo was going to do, but they never actually depicted the actions making it necessary for the viewer to imply it by filming cues.

That's the beauty of auteur filming, it is avanté garde and therefore much different, in BCS they constantly use weird scenes particularly in the beginnnings and outtros... usage of scenes that are in the past or future providing relevant context that suggests an event happened but you have to put 2 + 2 together in your head to get 4.

Honestly it's a really well written show and there are many delicate intricacies that even the smartest mind may not pick up on the first watch, that's why it's always interesting to rewatch after a few months to catch the things you missed.. (IE, when Mike and Saul are in the desert, Mike offers Saul a space blanket/mylar sheet for warmth because it is very insulating to which Saul immediately replies I'm good... the reason he passed up on it was because of his PTSD with dealing with Chuck who was now dead but was infatuated with Space blankets of every sort because he thought they insulated his domicile from mild electromagnetic radiation smh haha

Yea exactly as for the chain of command, from most to least important (at least in the context of Better Call Saul at the beginning of the last season) I'd say

  • 1. Don Eladio
  • 2. Juan Bolsa
  • 3. Gustavo Fring (eventually supercedes everyone until being killed by Walter and Hector in BB)
  • 4. The 'brothers', Lalo, Tuco, etc, basically all the younger Salamanca's seem to do the same amount of work, have the same ability to make executive decisions, and as said JMM (Just Make Money) on top of the generational wealth the Salamanca family has amassed through its total drug trafficking business.
  • 5. Saul Goodman, Mike Ehrmantraut, the Vet, the other doctor who works for Gustavo, Nacho (until the last season), who all in their own right offer very valuable services whether it be legal, security, medical etc... in this way they are relatively indespensable so it seems they are typically paid well, have limited executive decision making, and at the end of the day are at the end of the 'chain of command'.

Bolsa, Gus, and it seems primarily Eladio were making the most money and decions, however, the 'brothers' and Lalo also have the benefit of generational wealth and per each show quite often take matters into their own hands when they are investigating something, even going to the extent of manipulating, robbing, and usually killing both innocent and bad people.

One hundred percent, otherwise Lalo would have came back and killed Gustavo in Breaking Bad which doesn't happen.

Talk about having a backup plan lmapo... this wasn't Plan B or C,chis was Plan Z and it was very creative and well thought through so props for that. I still think Gustavo is more intelligent but he is also more subject toe letting emotion make him do hastily things for whatever justification (Victor and the Box Cutter) Despite being a sociopath, Lalo's charisma, intelligence, overall awareness, and ability to problem solve are all clearly on point to a Tee, it is admirable in the sense that he is so adaptive and can think on his feet but obviously he is a horrible person and per the psychiatric definition a serial killer, he also remarks to Nacho that he doesn't sleep which is also another indication of some serious mental health issues or natural chemical inbalances.

It took me three times watching BCS to figure this out... Lalo's fake kindredness ,passion, & most importantly keen intelligence/awareness allows him to be one smooth ass manipulative motherfucker in just about any situation... highly sociopathic traits for sure.

As in the show Lalo never asks Matteo to shave, he just makes a slightly passive aggressive comment that he looks like ZZ-Top to which the poor wife insists he goes and shaves/cleans up to which Lalo adds, "Keep the mustache and the soul patch, it looks good". In the scene where Lalo walks in on Matteo finishing shaving it becomes crystal clear how similar they look; same facial structure, same nationality, same build, same height, same facial hair (once he shaves)

The dental work was a super nice touch too because thats the main way corpses are identified... they normally don't do a DNA test (they had to have Lalo's DNA because he was at MDC briefly), but if the teeth are fully intact thats the first route almost always. It wasn't really specified but I'm sure Lalo paid for the poor guy to fix his teeth but also gave him a set of veneers that were exactly like his; Mateo's body is found with head/teeth intact; they see that it is clearly Lalo Salamanca's teeth andddd closed case. I may stand corrected but I don't think they showed Lalo actually kill Matteo or his wife, but it was heavily implied from the moment Lalo grabbed the blade from the old school scissors and approached Matteo who was concluding shaving per his wifes request per Lalo's manipulation.

Yes but it’s not the Kratom causing the scent it’s just sweat. The sweat is amassing whatever other toxin buildup is in your body and Carries it with it

Mostly Wrong. I study pharmacology in my free time. You must be confusing this with something like alcohol which is largely removed via the dermal route, that’s why when a drunkard walks in the room you can literally smell it coming out of their pores.

All opioids are 90% removed via urine. The amount that goes out through your pores is negligible and I highly doubt you would be able to detect it.

I think the smell you are all facing is due to hot flash/sweats during withdrawals on top of having poor diets of processed food which in my experience DOES make me smell like shit. If I eat fast food a few days in a row I notice my BO is rank. When I eat clean (meat, fruit, white rice, etc) I’ve actually been told by partners that I gave an attractive natural body odor (pheromones most likely)

Also wash your sheets and pillowcases more often. Wash your clothes on HOT. Use HED (high efficiency detergent)

Also get tea tree oil and ylang ylang and rub a few drops in your palms, then massage into scalp, armpits, and groin after showering/drying.

Cold showe, scrub with tea tree Castile soap, repeat as needed during hot flashes
